Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has taken a brutal swipe at reality TV show SAS .
The KIIS FM star, 48, made the comments on Thursday morning after discussing the show’s finale, in which The Bachelor’s Tim Robards and Olympian Matthew Mitcham both ‘passed selection’ on the show.
‘Obviously they’d never actually get into the SAS,’ Jackie said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, referring to the actual Special Air Service unit of the British Army upon which the show is based.
‘They’d never actually pass the real test,’ she told co-host Kyle Sandilands, who agreed with her.
‘That’s an insult to the SAS to think that a celebrity can actually get in,’ added Henderson.

Robards and Mitcham both passed selection during Wednesday night’s gripping finale of SAS .
The remaining recruits were tasked with combining all the skills they’d learned throughout the season into a three-phase final mission to pass the course and make selection.
Phase 1 – A psychological test to control their emotions while recording a death message to their loved ones.
Phase 2 – A brutal physical test of grit, determination and stamina with a desert run and perilous ascent to the summit of a mountain range.
And finally Phase 3 – A task of pure bravery to infiltrate enemy territory under heavy fire and locate hostages while risking their own lives to transport them to safety.

After deliberating over their final decision, the show’s DS (directing staff), called the recruits together to deliver their verdict.
‘All three of you have shown your worth. You all deserve to be here. But today was all about the past ten days. everything that we’ve said and done throughout the course,’ he said.
‘The selection process has 97 per cent failure rate. It’s the hardest military test in the world. But only the selected few make it through…

‘Now, we as the DS had an extremely hard decision to make. For the very first time have been split with our decisions on who passes this course. We ask ourselves one question, could we have you beside us in our team on the battlefield? ‘
Both Tim and Mitch’s efforts paid off, but Thai Cave rescue hero Craig Challen did not pass the test.
Middleton explained he would not feel confident sending him on a battlefield.

In Wednesday’s episode, the trio competed against AFL field commentator Abbey Holmes, who was sent home earlier in the episode.
‘That’s the hardest thing,’ a teary Abby told Ant Middleton, after the second task.
He replied: ‘Keep your head up. It was just a little bit too much… ..a bridge too far for you.’
‘Obviously disappointed And happy. I had…I had nothing else Nothing,’ she explained.
Meanwhile, Craig was sent home because the DS felt like he struggled more than normal during the final task and didn’t take on feedback given to him.
