Congress is demanding Jeffrey Epstein’s estate hand over any documents it possess related to the late child sex offender.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said his panel is reviewing the ‘possible mismanagement of the federal government’s investigation’ into Epstein and associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

The new sweeping subpoena asks the Epstein estate for unredacted documents and communications.

It comes after the Justice Department turned over to Congress on Friday thousands of pages of Epstein documents – though Democrats on the panel claim only 3 percent is new information.

Comer is looking through the documents and preparing redacted version for public release.

The Kentucky Republican’s committee is reviewing whether the government acted improperly in its probe of Maxwell and Epstein.

The Oversight’s goal here, Comer says, is to examine the ‘circumstances and subsequent investigations of Mr. Epstein’s death, the operation of sex-trafficking rings and ways for the federal government to effectively combat them, and potential violations of ethics rules related to elected officials.’

In the meantime, the chairman wants Epstein’s estate to turn over everything it has to his panel.

Attorney General Pam Bondi concluded in her review of the files that Epstein died by suicide in jail on August 10, 2019, confirming the original cause of death.

She also said her agency found no so-called client list and confirmed no one else would be arrested or charged in connection to Epstein’s crime.

Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence. She is the only person behind bars for the crimes.

Beyond its subpoena, the Oversight panel also secured a voluntary interview to take place on September 19 with Alexander Acosta, who was the U.S. Attorney for the southern District of Florida during the 2007 case against Epstein.

Attorneys General Alberto Gonzelez, Eric Holder and Jeff Sessions are all prepared to hand over to Comer formal written declarations confirming they have no information regarding the Epstein and Maxwell cases, the committee announced on Monday.

All three were previously subpoenaed for depositions before the Oversight Commitee.

MAGA fanatics who were hungry to see take-downs in the Epstein case once Trump was back in office were not pleased with Bondi’s memo earlier this month.

Many called for her resignation or firing and others claimed she was involved in a ‘cover-up.’
