An international manhunt for one of Canada’s most wanted men – suspected of a bodybuilder’s murder – has ended at a four-storey block of flats in Luton.

Adrian Gordon, 24, went on the run after the murder in May, with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police warning the public he was ‘armed, violent and dangerous’.

He was suspected of first degree murder in regard to killing champion bodybuilder Jesse Tubbs, 30, who was found shot in a drugs hotspot.

He was discovered lying on the ground with ‘obvious signs’ of trauma and later died in a Toronto hospital from his injuries.

A global search effort to find Gordon described as 5ft 6in and 130lb with a thin build, short black hair, clean shaven and brown eyes.

Officers were tipped off that Gordon was in Luton and asked the National Crime Agency in London for an extradition.

As a result, Gordon was arrested at The Martindales housing complex in Bedfordshire.

Those living in the building said it was ‘crazy’ he’d been found there and said he ‘kept to himself and was polite’.

Student Pavel Klimowicz told The Sun: ‘I woke up to a massive scream and found out later that the police had raided the building and arrested him.

‘To know he is one of Canada’s most wanted men is crazy. There’s kids and families living here so thank God something worse didn’t happen.’
