Homeland Security raided a trash-ridden basement in the Bronx where eight migrants were squatting with drugs, guns, endless junk and a seven-year-old child.

Agents raided the home after NYPD officers arrested seven men and one woman at the home where the illegal activity was allegedly taking place, but six of the migrants were released without bail yesterday. DHS agents re-arrested two of the migrants during Wednesday’s raid.

One of the migrants had an open case for an attempted murder in Yonkers, according to NYPD chief of Patrol John Chell. Another individual in the group had a case for walking around with an open gun.

Footage from the aftermath of the raid uncovers the disgusting basement where the migrants were squatting – which was covered in clutter, luggage, trash bags and a makeshift swimming pool.

A seven-year-old child was also found on the scene, amongst the drugs and guns, although its unclear who the child’s parents are and why he was at the trashed basement.

Video footage from today’s raid showed the migrants being dragged out of the house in handcuffs.

The group of migrants had been camping out in the New York basement when police received a call about a man with a gun close to a nearby school, leading officers to the property where the illegal activity was taking place.

When authorities obtained a search warrant – they found two more loaded guns, three loaded extended magazines, ammunition and a bag of ketamine mixed with cocaine. There was also a seven-year-old boy found in the home along with the group of migrants.

The inside of the basement was torn apart, with miscellaneous junk crowding the floor and suitcases carelessly tossed all over the place.

It is unclear why most of the migrants were released without bail while two were held despite each facing the same charges of criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance and acting in a manner injurious to a child, The New York Post reported.

The eight arrested were Hector Desousa-Villalta, 24, Jaiver Alborno, 22, Yoessy Pino Castillo, 20, Yerbin Lozado-Munoz, 25, Yojairo Martinez, 42, Miquel Vaamondes-Barrios, 31, Jefferson Orlando Abreau, 39, and Johan Cardenas Silva, 35.

The illicit activity had allegedly been going on for months at the home on Hull Avenue and East 207th Street in the Norwood section – right across the street from a school, according to FOX news.

Dramatic footage from yesterday’s arrest shows four NYPD officers dashing into the basement of a multi-family home and returning with multiple people in handcuffs.

The raid initially resulted in eight arrests and police suspect that the migrants were illegally squatting in the property.

All eight suspects face gun, drugs and child endangerment charges – however, all but two of them were released without bail following the arrest.

Police initially discovered the basement-turned-drug den when the migrant spotted just footsteps away from a school with a gun fled.

Officers chased 24-year-old Hector Desousa Villata to the home on Hull Avenue, where he was arrested along with seven other migrants.

At the home, 22-year-old Javier Alborno tried to flee with a weapon but was quickly arrested.

‘Two of the people with the guns had open cases, one for an attempted murder in Yonkers, and one walking around with an open gun indictment, walking around,’ said NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell.

A neighbor said, ‘They’re squatters and the owner has been trying to get them out of the apartment for the longest period of time.

‘I think he has a court date set, apparently because they’re squatters for more than 30 days. They came, they were a disruptive force mainly because there were a lot of them. You didn’t know who was staying, not staying there, and the owner of the building had a hell of a time trying to get them out,’ said neighbor Alfred Munoz to ABC7.
