Media personality Jess Eva has come a long way since her days on The Block.
Since shooting to fame on the renovation series back in 2018 with her husband Norm, the 39-year-old has transformed herself into a glamorous television star as the host of Studio 10.
At her heaviest, Jess tipped the scales at 95kg, and she has now dropped 20kg and had a stunning makeover complete with new platinum blonde locks and gleaming white veneers.
Speaking to Daily Mail , Jess admitted she battled depression after appearing on The Block and turned to emotional eating to cope with the stress.
‘I was so depressed and I was so fat that I would order a large pizza from Domino’s, and it was a four minute car ride from Domino’s to my house, and I couldn’t even wait – I’d finish the pizza before I got home,’ she said.

‘That’s how desperate I was to find some kind of happiness.’
The funnywoman finally decided to turn things around in 2019 after having what she calls her ‘midlife awakening’.
‘I realised it was a midlife crisis, but I don’t want to call it that – I want to call it a midlife awakening,’ she explained.
‘I didn’t want to live the rest of my life not being able to drive four minutes with the smell of a Hawaiian pizza in my car before it was finished.’
Jess forked out more than $50,000 to enhance her appearance, although she says those figures have been wildly exaggerated.
‘I don’t have $50,000 and if I did I’d get my boobs done!’ she joked.

The mum-of-two kicked off her lifestyle overhaul in 2019 when she partnered with the healthy meal delivery service Lite N Easy to lose weight.
She was able to lose 10kg in just two months by swapping fast food for Lite N Easy.
‘It was time to make a change,’ she admitted to NW magazine at the time.
She has since lost another 10kg on top of that through strict diet and exercise.
Jess also admitted that part of her health journey involved learning to love herself as she was.
‘I used to feel really insecure about my body. I hated my nose, I thought I was fat, that my bottom was big. I hated my toes,’ she told Who magazine.
‘But as I’ve got older I just see it as a pair of walking sticks and a couple of hands. It gets me to where I want to be and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.’

Last year, Jess told Daily Mail that she had given up ’emotional eating’ for good.
The term refers to the habit of consuming food as a way to provide comfort while experiencing negative feelings like stress.
‘I have two takeaway places near me, on my drive home,’ she explained. ‘It was like having a coffee at the end of the day. I’ve stopped doing that.’
The mother of two said that a new exercise regimen, including riding bikes with her children, had also helped to provide the radio star with a trimmer figure.
‘I feel healthier,’ she gushed, and said that watching what she ate was key to dieting.
‘I’m trying to keep down carbs because my ass explodes even at the look of one!’ she joked.
Jess’ media career has exploded over the past five years, with the former Block star enjoying a successful radio stint at Triple M before becoming a co-host of Studio 10.
