Suspected UnitedHealthcare CEO killer Luigi Mangione is likely spending his Christmas zonked out on psych meds inside a hellhole New York City prison while eating cheese crackers, a prison expert recently claimed.

Mangione, who pleaded not guilty Monday in the killing of Brian Thompson, has been locked away in Brooklyn’s infamous Metropolitan Detention Center along with high-profile inmates like Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

Larry Levine — who is the director and founder of Wall Street Prison Consultants and has previously spent a decade in the prison system himself — told the US Sun that Mangione will soon be on a steady diet of anti-psychotics.

‘[Diddy] can handle his s**t. I just know [Mangione] is f**king scared, and now they’re probably trying to force-feed him,’ Levine said. ‘They’re gonna offer him psych meds. He’s gonna be like a f**king zombie. That’s a given.’

As for what food Mangione, 26, will actually be eating, Levine said ‘he can have cheese crackers and maybe a bottle of a plastic bottle of soda.’

‘He’ll buy a honey bun. It’s like all knock-offs, too. They don’t sell the real s**t in the feds,’ Levine added.

Levine also said Mangione likely won’t be in the MDC’s Special Housing Unit, commonly known as the SHU, for at least two weeks. Diddy is in the SHU and is reportedly refusing meals, according to sources inside the jail.

‘[Luigi’s] mind is a little f**ked up. He never thought that he’d be in the feds,’ Levine said. ‘He’s acclimating himself to his new surroundings. His lawyers are thanking God he’s in New York, and they don’t have to travel to Pennsylvania to visit him.’

Levine told DailyMail.com inmates normally receive a ‘Christmas or holiday sack’ that includes goodies such as cookies, potato chips and candy. Over the years, however, the goodie bag has become smaller.

‘It’s plastic and it’s almost like a big pillow and over the years it has shrunk,’ Levine said of the holiday prison bag.

‘It’s a bunch of crap that probably was purchased because it was out of date because the prison system sells you out of date stuff. And they’re trying to act like they’re doing the inmates a favor.’

Levine said since court cases tend to slow down during the holidays and inmates are not being transported back and forth to court from MDC, many just end up sitting in their tiny cells often depressed and angry.

‘Prosecutors are on vacation,’ Levine said. ‘Judges are on vacation. Your lawyer, they’re spending time with their families. They don’t want to talk to you anyway. So you’re just sitting there isolated and in a regular institution on a holiday.’

Levine added while some inmates might get a visit from family, it could end up causing more tension.

‘There are so many people that are coming in to get a visit that they have to limit the amount of time in the visiting room,’ the prison expert said.

‘So that two hour visit you might’ve normally got, it may only be 30 minutes long.

‘This creates a lot of tension among the inmates where I’ve seen more fights break out during the holidays between inmates than any other time.

‘And I’m talking based on my 10 years of experience at 11 different places — holidays are the worst!’

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg formally charged Mangione last week with multiple counts of murder, including murder as an act of terrorism.

His initial appearance in New York state’s trial court was preempted by federal prosecutors bringing their own charges over the shooting of Thompson.

Mangione shuffled into New York Supreme Court in chains on Monday morning sporting a collared shirt, maroon sweater and orange shoes.

He was shackled and seated when he leaned over to a microphone to enter his plea. He was then seen folding up some papers before being escorted out of the courtroom.

His attorney Karen Friedman Agnifilo urged the judge to ensure her client gets a fair trial as she warned Mangione is being prejudiced by statements made by government officials.

She added that he was being used a ‘political fodder’ by the ‘warring’ jurisdictions involved in the case, as she slammed the showy perp walk he has been subjected to as ‘unconstitutional’.

Agnifilo also took aim at New York City mayor Eric Adams, questioning why he was present at both a press conference about the case and the perp walk.

DailyMail.com reported Tuesday that Mangione has finally been made aware that some members of the public adore him or even lust after him. He was shown articles reporting on the massive fixation people have with him.

Mangione has captivated the nation following Thompson’s murder, with memes, merchandise and religious-themed candles that glorify him popping up all over the internet.

A source close to Mangione said he is ‘extremely aware of the massive fan base he has right now.’ He was ‘shocked and really choked up’ when he first saw the support he has received, which ‘gave him confidence and reassurance that he will be okay.’
