An extreme cyclist known for sharing videos of his daredevil stunts was killed in a tragic crash in Colombia that also claimed the life a 13-year-old girl riding on the back of his bike.

Juan Aguilón, 21, who went by ‘Soto GV’ on social media, often posted videos of his ‘gravity bike’ rides, or speeding down hills without the use of brakes.

Aguilón and the teen girl were riding down a hill on Tuesday night in the town of Bucaramanga when he tried to pass a vehicle in the opposing lane and collided with a motorcycle going the other way.

The impact sent Aguilón and the girl, whose name has not been released, spilling onto the road, where they were run over by a truck.

Paramedics attempted to revive both victims on the scene before they were declared dead.

One of the clips posted by Aguilón showed him and other bike riders speeding down a foggy road and switching lanes.

Another showed several riders holding cable lines tied to the back of a truck.

Aguilón’s death stunned many in the tight-knit biking community.

‘The group will no longer be the same, the energy of hanging out will no longer be the same, you’re gone and we can’t do anything about it,’ one of his biking friends commented on social media.

‘My little brother, I will be missing you on the hills,’ another commented. ‘Bro I still can’t believe it enjoy the highest hill up there in the sky.’

Aguilón’s death comes almost two weeks after 16-year-old Karla Motato was killed in a similar ‘gravity bike’ crash in the city of Pereira.

Motato was riding on a bike with a 20-year-old man when a truck hit the pair.

On September, a 15-year-old boy was killed in a ‘gravity bike’ crash in the city of Risaralda, when he collided with a truck, according to RCN Radio.
