Industry has gripped fans with its insider view of the blackbox of finance following a group of young bankers in the pressure cooker environment and sex and drug-fuelled blitz of international bank Pierpoint & Co’s London office.

The BBC and HBO have released a glimpse at the series where money, government and class will collide as Pierpoint & Co takes a ‘big bet’ on ethical investing.

Pierpoint will once again be the centre of the gripping show, as viewers are plunged back into the unrelenting world of investment banking.

In season three, Pierpoint looks to the future and takes a big bet on ethical investing, as the company becomes involved with Lumi, a green tech energy company.

The company is controlled by British aristocrat Lord Henry Muck (Kit Harington), who is described as the embodiment of ‘old money’ privilege.

Yasmin (Marisa Abela), Robert (Harry Lawtey), and Eric (Ken Leung) will find themselves front and centre in the splashy IPO of Lumi.

Meanwhile, since leaving Pierpoint, Harper (Myha’la) is eager to get back into the addictive thrill of finance and finds an unlikely partner in FutureDawn portfolio manager Petra Koenig (Sarah Goldberg).

Industry’s returning cast includes Myha’la, Marisa Abela, Harry Lawtey, Ken Leung, Conor MacNeill, Sagar Radia, Indy Lewis, Adam Levy, Sarah Parish, Trevor White, Elena Saurel and Irfan Shamji.

They are joined by new cast members Kit, Sarah Goldberg as Petra Koenig, Miriam Petche as Sweetpea Golightly, Andrew Cavill as Lord Norton, Roger Barclay as Otto Mostyn, Fady Elsayed as Ali El Mansour, and Fiona Button as Denise Oldroyd.

Since starring in eight series of Game Of Thrones, Kit appeared in the star-studded cast of Marvel’s Eternals as Black Knight, released in 2021.

Last year he starred in the AppleTV+ series Extrapolations, an anthology series that depicts the effects of climate change, beginning on March 17.

In October 2022, HBO announced that they had renewed Industry for a third season, with star Myha’la Herrold – who plays Harper – gushing: ‘Y’all did this… Thank you so much for watching our show and sending us so much love.

‘I can’t wait to bring you more @industryhbo. Season three is coming!’

Creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay previously teased on a Discord chat that they had ‘a very good season three idea.’

‘We had a rule that we had to burn our best plot ideas as quickly as possible,’ Kay said of season two.

‘Hold nothing back. Every episode should feel like a finale. We hate how slow most modern TV is.’

Leung, Alex Alomar Akpobome, David Jonsson, Conor MacNeill, and Jay Duplass.

‘Industry reached new heights in season two, cementing its status as a buzzy hit with addictive storytelling, layered characters, a breakneck pace, and keen observations about contemporary workplace dynamics,’ HBO Programming senior VP Kathleen McCaffrey told Deadline on Tuesday.

‘We’re incredibly proud of what Mickey and Konrad, Jami O’Brien, Jane Tranter, and the team at Bad Wolf – together with our entire cast and crew – accomplished.

‘We couldn’t be more excited to continue our journey with them into season three.’

The series will air on BBC and HBO later this year.
