Mikey Madison turned heads in a glamorous black gown at the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday.

The actress, 25, put on an elegant display as she walked the star-studded red carpet in a strapless, black dress with deconstructed-inspired bodice layered over a cream-colored corset.

For her classic, monochromatic black look, she paired the ‘peeling,’ Calvin Klein tea dress with peep-toe mules.

The Anora star — who revealed the one piece of advice she regretted taking from Robert De Niro — slicked back her dark brunette tresses into a polished bun and donned a pair of gray, pearl stud earrings.

She was also seen arriving at the award ceremony in a pair of oversize, oval-shaped sunglasses and a black, leather clutch to match.

On the same evening, she took home the award for best lead actor for her performance in Anora while Sean Baker also won best director and best film for the movie.

Finally, she added a pale pink blush for a subtle flush of color and completed her look with a nude pink lip.

Madison stars in the Oscar front-runner movie, which tells the story of a Brooklyn sex worker and her whirlwind affair with a Russian oligarch’s son.

The award ceremony, which was held in a beachside tent in Santa Monica, celebrates the best in independent film television.

While accepting Best Director, Baker spoke about how indie film is ‘struggling more than ever’ in his speech.

‘The system has to be changed,’ he said as he spoke about how little is paid to those who provide a cultural zeitgeist for Hollywood and cinema.

‘It’s completely unsustainable. We shouldn’t be barely getting by,’ he continued as he speech aroused a standing ovation.
