Danielle Harold became the fifth campmate to be eliminated from the n jungle in Thursday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.
The EastEnders actress, 31, left the camp after losing out to Tony Bellew in the public vote after they came in the bottom two in the latest elimination.
Nick Pickard, Fred Sirieix, Nella Rose and Frankie Dettori were all previously voted out, with just five celebrities remaining ahead of Sunday’s much-anticipated final.
All of the eliminated celebrities so far have backed Sam Thompson to win the 2023 series, and Danielle joined them in urging viewers to vote for him in the coming days.
Speaking to Ant and Dec after her elimination, Danielle said: ‘Sam, please vote for Sam… he’s such a trooper, he’s such a great guy.’

‘[Sam’s] literally become a brother to me. We’re both a bit crazy, bubbly and loud, probably got on everyone’s nerves down there… he made me laugh so much,’ she went on.
‘I thought [his energy] was brilliant, I’m egging it on. You need someone down there with energy constant, when you dip, you need someone to bring you back up, and that’s Sam.’
Danielle has become the fifth star to back Sam to win the 2023 series after actor Nick also shared his hopes for his victory after his own exit on Wednesday.
He said: ‘[Sam] deserves it, well they all deserve it, but he does and I think he really wants to win… Sam’s the lifeblood in there, it wouldn’t be the same without him, he’s got so much energy.’
Frankie Dettori was the first campmate to be eliminated in the public vote and admitted he thinks Sam will take home the top prize this year.
He said: ‘My bet would be Sam. He brings a lot to the table, he’s entertaining, he is silly, he sings, he is happy and I think what people is going to like about him is all of that. That … to me is the winner.’
Nella Rose was the next star to be voted out of the jungle, and she too said: ‘I think Sam should be King of the Jungle, he has wanted to do this since he was a kid.’
Fred Sirieix left camp on Tuesday after the third public vote and once again bet on Sam to make it all the way in this year’s series.

Danielle’s exit leaves Josie Gibson as the final female campmate left in the jungle, and the TV star gushed over her pal while chatting to Ant and Dec.
‘My Josie, I’m rooting for her so much, she’s so much stronger than she thinks… she’s got this, I know she has,’ she said after her own elimination from the jungle.
Danielle also waded into Josie and Fred Sirieix’s clashes over the This Morning host’s cooking skills as she showed her support for her friend.
Fred clashed with Josie as he hit out at her cooking skills while struggling to let go of his former camp chef role in a move which saw viewers brand him as ‘controlling’.
When asked by Ant and Dec whose cooking she preferred, Danielle said: ‘I’m going to go with Josie, I love Fred, but I like a bit of the home cooking from Josie.’
Despite the drama, the TV star, best known for playing Lola Pearce on EastEnders, insisted she got on with everyone in camp, even controversial politician Nigel Farage.
‘I’m so glad this year was my year… even Mr Farage, they were such a good group of people and we’re friends for life,’ she admitted.
Following her exit, Danielle walked across the iconic bridge and became completely overwhelmed with emotion as she cried when she saw her mother Lisa Marie Carter waiting for her.
The pair shared a very tearful hug as they reunited after weeks apart and tearfully smiled for the cameras upon their sweet meeting.
Her elimination comes just one day after fans were left shocked by Nick’s elimination as they gushed over the ‘lovely’ star.

After Nick was the fourth star to be voted out, fans took to X – formerly known as Twitter – to admit they were ‘gutted’ that he had been booted out of the camp.
One wrote: ‘Gutted that Nick has gone,’ and another said: ‘If it was another year Nick would have won, what a lovely man.’
A third penned: ‘Ohhh I liked Nick. Gutted,’ while a fourth tweeted: ‘Nick hadn’t left, it’s a dream and I want to wake up now.’
A fifth said: ‘Nick deserved better,’ and another commented: ‘Bye Nick but I’m happy it’s not Josie.’
One admitted: ‘So glad Josie is still there,’ while another vowed: ‘I’m gonna start voting for Josie now,’ after she ended up in the bottom two.
Some fans also shared their disbelief that Nick had been voted out before controversial politician and former UKIP leader Nigel.
Despite fans’ unhappy reactions to his exit, Nick – known for playing Tony Hutchinson on Hollyoaks – didn’t seem upset as he joined Ant and Dec to look back on his jungle journey.
Nick grinned as he arrived to speak to the co-hosts and admitted he was happy to be leaving because he felt like his time on the show had come to an end.
He revealed it was his family who persuaded him to go on the ITV show as he said he was pleased to have finally taken part after more than 20 years on Hollyoaks.
‘I’ve never been asked before, it was an honour to be asked… it was great, it was so much fun,’ he gushed.
‘For me, I did the show for my family, they all wanted me to do it. I’ve never been asked before and it’s a lifetime experience. I didn’t do it to show who I am, I know who I am and that’s what’s important.’
Danielle appeared to be completely overjoyed as she grinned and shared a hug with her beloved mother

Nick also addressed recent drama which saw former camp chef Fred criticise Josie’s cooking skills.
‘[Fred] gave Josie a little bit of a rough time, not in a bad way but he’s just very particular,’ Nick said of the famous cooking rows.
Nick had previously shared his apprehension about cooking for Fred after taking over from Josie as chef alongside Sam following the kitchen arguments.
Nick’s exit came just one day after First Dates star Fred became the third star to be voted out of the camp.
Fred had a drama-filled time in camp after clashing with Nigel Farage over Brexit, rowing with Josie and being confronted by Nella in the ‘Dadgate’ row.
After the spate of drama, many viewers took to social media after Fred’s exit to admit they were pleased to see him go as they branded him as ‘bossy’.
One said: ‘Not really surprising its Fred, his really let himself down with the way his been acting recently tho it has caused tension, drama and been entertaining which has been great.’
Another wrote: ‘Hallelujah Fred has gone!!! He thought he was everything in there….bossy as f**k!!!’ while a third tweeted: ‘ SOOOOO glad Fred has gone! Can’t be arsed to hear him any longer.’
A fourth penned: ‘ Fred could of easily been Top 3… Think he ruined it with the whole dinner gate!’
Another added: ‘I had Fred down as a finalist but I think last couple of shows he didn’t do himself any favours. I still like him.’
Fred Sirieix became the third star to be voted out of the jungle and his exit prompted very mixed reactions from viewers
However, some viewers also jumped to his defence as they argued there were other campmates who deserved to be eliminated rather than Fred.
One wrote: ‘Actually didn’t want Fred to go just yet. He’s just passionate,’ and a second said: ‘ Aww I’m acc sad Fred left.’
Another added: ‘Sad to see Fred leave the camp tbh. There are others who have provided a lot less to the show.’
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues Friday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
