Hectic schedule? Don’t neglect your health! How to keep up with your wellness goals

  • Make a health schedule ahead of your busy week
  • Cook healthy foods before you become too busy and bring them with you
  • Focus on resting in the week before you are overwhelmed

The wellness pro told DailyMail.com: ‘In the morning we get the most amount of cortisol that naturally gets surging in our bodies. This was a primitive design of the human body, so you would get up and get out of the cave and you would go find food.

‘So now what we do is we get up, we drink a cup of coffee, we spike our cortisol, and then we go to our phone and we look at social media and then maybe we head off to work, and we sit all day.

‘The best time to move is in the morning when cortisol is there. If you don’t use cortisol, you store it, and you’ll store it as belly fat. So I’m a big fan of morning walks, morning movement. ‘

She noted that you should be hitting the gym in the morning for at least an hour.

Dr. Mindy noted that the morning was the best time to work up a sweat because it could help you get rid of high levels of cortisol and excess belly fat.

She also shared that you should ‘walk anytime you get stressed.’

The health expert told DailyMail.com: ‘So if you’re in a meeting at work, and all of a sudden you get this massive stress, get up and move.

‘Because cortisol is the hormone that makes you move, and when you’re stressed and that hormone comes in. If you don’t move, then you store it.’

In addition to what time of day can help you burn the most amount of fat, the doctor also knows a thing or two about taking care of your body during the busy periods of your life.

Dr. Mindy revealed she helped both Kat and LeAnn stay in great shape, despite their hectic schedules.

‘It was really interesting with LeAnn because we looked at her menstrual cycle and her tour schedule,’ she said.

‘And we were like, “Okay, here is where you have more demands, like, you’re know you’re going to do three nights of shows in a row.”

‘So we used nutrition and IV drips. We used things to build her up so that she could go and perform on stage.’

‘When she got home, we had all kinds of recovery set up for her. So it’s almost like we created two schedules,’ she explained, adding that the A-lister also brought healthy food on the road with her.
