I’m A Celeb viewers claimed to have uncovered the true reason behind fan-favourite Josie Gibson’s shock exit on Saturday as she narrowly missed out a spot in the final.
The This Morning star, 38, has been a big hit since entering camp but now fans have speculated her feud with First Dates Fred Siriex, 51, saw her ‘mask her slip’ and show her ‘true colours’ which led to her getting the boot.
The duo clashed when Josie took over the cooking duties, much to the dismay of the maître d’, and also appeared to mock him alongside actress Danielle Harodl, 31 after he failed to get all the stars in a Bushtucker Trial.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one wrote: ‘Sorry gone right off Josie and Danielle they showed a horrible side to them both like school playground behaviour whilst mocking Fred.
While a second said: ‘She’s shown her true colours, she’s like a mean girl at school. I hope she’s not back on This Morning!’.

Discussing what would prove to be third evictee Fred’s final Bushtucker Trial – during which he won seven of a possible nine meals for camp – former EastEnders star Danielle told Josie: ‘He’s p***ed off because he didn’t get full stars.’
The comment prompted a sarcastic response from the TV host, who mimicked a child crying as she relaxed in her hammock.
Impersonating the Frenchman and his persistent fussing over their meals, she said: ‘I’m not the camp chef! I must do the pots! Cry cry!’
The imitation went down well with Harold, who burst into fits of laughter as Gibson persevered with the imitation before admitting: ‘God I’ve turned really immature now. I think he’s been hanging around with Gordon Ramsay too much though.’
However the incident sparked a negative response across social media, with one viewer commenting: ‘Oh no Josie don’t stoop to Danielle’s level.’
A second added: “Bruh I can’t route for Danielle and Josie when they’re making fun of Fred like that. Like grow up, you can dislike someone without acting like a bully about it.’

It comes after Josie detailed her ‘secret showdown’ with Fred that wasn’t aired on the show.
The This Morning presenter, 38, was voted off on Saturday night ahead of the final and chatted to hosts Ant and Dec in her exit interview about the confrontation.
Josie and First Dates star Fred, 51, had a tough time in camp as Fred struggled to hands over the cooking reigns to her.
He was then caught up in a ‘sexism’ row after viewers accused him of being ‘controlling’ towards her as she tried to make dinner.

In her exit chat Josie lifted the lid on their ‘showdown’ where they settled their problems.
She said: ‘I was trying to cook and Fred was criticising everything I do. I think I put him straight at the end.
‘In the end, I just had to settle it with a showdown. We had a showdown in the end and I won.’
Viewers took to social media to reveal their disappointment over the row not being shown.
One said: ‘Why wouldn’t you show the showdown?’
Another wrote: ‘So Josie and Fred had a showdown but ITV decided not to edit it in, such a shame.’
And a third added: ‘I want to see Josie and Fred’s showdown!’
