Hugh Jackman impressed fans in New York with his one-man show on Friday night.
The 56-year-old Wolverine actor delivered an energetic performance on the first night of three shows he is performing over the weekend at Manhattan’s Radio City Music Hall.
Titled Hugh Jackman: From New York, With Love, the show features the beloved song-and-dance performer singing fan favourites from hit musicals like The Boy From Oz, The Greatest Showman, and The Music Man.
Photos from Hugh’s opening night highlight the star’s versatility.
Dressed for the stage in a smart grey lounge suit with a matching vest and a white shirt, a bearded Hugh can be seen pouring his heart into his performance.
Another image captures the Oklahoma! star playing an acoustic guitar, with one arm dramatically raised above his head.

Known for his good-humour, a clearly amused Hugh smiled broadly as he skipped a rope in the middle of the performance.
He was also photographed sitting on a stool on stage, illuminated by a soft spotlight.
According to the official synopsis on the Radio City Music Hall website, Hugh’s one-man show is a ‘career retrospective’ in which he performs songs from his most iconic roles.
It comes after he went public with his romance with former co-star Sutton Foster earlier this month.
Sutton, 49, shared a backstage secret the pair shared during their time spent appearing in the hit revival of The Music Man.
In a resurfaced interview on Live With Kelly and Ryan from 2022, Sutton said she and the Aussie actor took part in an intimate pre-show ritual they dubbed the ‘carpet chat’.
She explained: ‘We hang out in my dressing room before every show and just catch up.
‘Somehow we ended up sitting, maybe because my dressing room’s a mess, but we sit on the carpet.’

She said this private moment was a ‘wonderful thing’ that brought them closer and helped turn them into ‘really good friends’.
‘That’s been one of the best parts of the whole thing, that I’ve made this wonderful new friend,’ Sutton said.
The glamour couple starred together in The Music Man on Broadway from December 2021 until January 2023.
Soon followed rumours that the pair had struck up a romance, with fans questioning what was behind Hugh’s shock split from his long-time wife, Deborra-Lee Furness.
The couple were seen locking lips beside their car at an In-N-Out burger restaurant in San Fernando, Los Angeles.
Hugh – who split from his wife of 27 years Deborra-lee in September 2023, embraced Sutton as she stroked his face.
Their outing comes after the Logan star attended a performance of Sutton’s production of Once Upon A Mattress in Los Angeles and the pair were seen holding hands on a date in Santa Monica.
Sutton filed for an uncontested divorce from her husband Ted Griffin in October of last year.
She had been married to the 53-year-old Ocean’s 11 screenwriter for 10 years.
