Shocking images captured the aftermath of an explosion at a Northrop Grumman facility in Utah on Wednesday.
The explosion occurred at the Northrop Grumman Rocket Garden facility in Promontory at 7:38am.
Images showed the building was left in rubble after the explosion as smoke filled the remote region.
Officials said an investigation has been launched and there are no reports of any injuries or deaths.
The facility is in a location known as the ‘Rocket Ranch’, and serves as a testing ground for the weapons manufacturer’s rocket systems, according to Deseret.
The cause of the explosion is not clear, with FOX13 reporting the facility was not one where Northrup Grumman combines chemicals to make its rocket boosters.
