Donald Trump’s youngest son Barron Trump has turned his back on romance to instead prioritize getting his business ideas off the ground this summer.
The 19-year-old student, who is days away from resuming his studies at New York University’s Stern School of Business, wrapped up his freshman year in May, and has spent the last three months trying to get his future career in order.
According to insiders, Barron – who is the youngest child of President Trump – has been busy taking meetings with business partners, developing tech projects, and setting up deals.
Although he hasn’t made a public appearance alongside his family since his father’s inauguration in January, he has also reportedly spent his downtime in their company.
‘Barron has been actively working on his own financial interests and has spent time with others who he is involved with in that area,’ a source told People.
‘Still, he has spent a great deal of time with his family.’
In July, it was reported that Barron had found love and was spending lots of time with his new love interest, although the identity of the mystery woman was never revealed.
At the time, a source told NewsNation: ‘Barron has a really nice girlfriend and hangs out with her a lot.’

The 19-year-old has also been spending quality time with family, despite not being seen publicly with them since January 20
However, People reports that his love life has since taken a backseat in the last few weeks.
Instead, they claim that Barron is not currently dating and has instead been focussed on his business and his family.
‘I don’t think that’s a big deal in his life right now,’ the insider added. ‘He has more school, a family who dotes on him and a career of his own he is launching.’

Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump proudly welcomed their first and only child together, Barron, in March 2006.
Barron finished his first year at NYU in May and is expected to graduate in 2028.
A source previously shared that his mother was doing everything that she could to make sure that her son was having a good experience.
‘She will do everything she can to make sure Barron does well in school and is socially and mentally adjusted to his life as a college student,’ a source told People in December 2024.

In a recent press conference, the President even joked that Melania loves Barron ‘more than him.’
His comments came after she penned a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin asking him to consider children in the Russia-Ukraine war.
‘She’s watched the same thing that you watch and I watch, I see things that you don’t get to see. It’s horrible. She has a great love of children,’ Trump said.
Referring to their son, the president joked, ‘she has a wonderful son that she loves probably more than anybody including me.’
‘I hate to say that, but she loves her son, she loves children, she hates to see something like this happening.’
