Footage captured the moment a violent fight broke out between a group of eshays on the Sydney light rail.
The fight broke out between a shirtless man, his friend who was wearing a bum bag and a passenger on the L3 to Kingsford line outside Central Station on Saturday.
A commuter filmed the altercation with footage showing the shirtless man tell the other passenger: ‘You’re lucky I’m out on bail.’
‘What are you going to do?’ the young man with the bum bag asked.
The three then began jostling on the tram.
Other passengers could be heard screaming in the background.
The brawl held up the light rail as the shirtless man launched a series of kicks from the platform and through the open doors.
When the doors began to close, the shirtless passenger and his friend began to spit at the passenger.
Footage of the incident was shared to Facebook where it has been seen thousands of times.
Social media users were quick to label the incident a ‘disgrace’.
