Shocking footage shows the moment a Los Angeles tow truck driver plowed into multiple vehicles and left another motorist with serious injuries.
The unidentified truck driver was traveling north on Griffith Avenue through the intersection of Washington Boulevard when it collided with a red Toyota Prius early this morning.
As soon as they crashed, a silver Prius collided with them. This caused the tow truck to overturn and crash into multiple parked cars on the side of the South LA road.
The massive vehicle then barreled down and landed on its side. It was left mangled in the street.
Officials believe that the crash caused damage to nearly 12 vehicles.

Reports of the South LA crash come a few months after state troopers responded to the fiery chain-reaction crash on Interstate 10 in Chandler involving six cars.
Danny G. Tiner, 36, was driving a tractor-trailer and was using TikTok on his cellphone seconds before causing a Phoenix-area freeway collision that killed five people in January 2023.
He was arrested at his home on multiple charges related to the crash, including five counts of manslaughter.
An investigation determined Tiner was driving 68mph in a 55mph construction zone and actively using the social media app on his cell right before the deadly crash.

Tiner’s tractor-trailer crashed into a passenger car, pushing it into another semitrailer and two other cars.
Most of the victims were trapped inside burning vehicles as the resulting fire from the crash lasted about two hours.
Initially, Tiner told police he had received a message on an electronic work tablet and was acknowledging it.
He said that when he looked back up traffic was stopped and he could not halt his semi-trailer in time to avoid a collision.
