Horrifying footage shows cars nearly torn in two after a Porsche driver tried to overtake a Volvo at high speed, leaving a man with ‘life-changing’ injuries.
Jason Zibarras, 50, was driving his Porsche Taycan fast along the A3400 near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, when he overtook another car on a solid white line on the crest of a hill.
He then collided with a Volvo v50 and Reanault Capture, leaving the Volvo driver with shocking injuries.
Harrowing video shows the Volvo completely crushed on one side and left with a gaping hole where the vehicle was smashed into.
The car was hit on the driver’s side as footage shows the front seats crushed following the ordeal.
Meanwhile, the Porsche can be seen with its offside front completely obliterated after it smashed into the other cars at speed.
Zibarras, of Enstone, Chipping Norton, was sentenced to a year and a half in prison during a hearing at Oxford Crown Court last week and was banned from driving for three years.

He pleaded guilty to one count of causing serious injury by dangerous driving on July 24, with the incident taking place on January 26. Zibarras was charged on May 31 via postal requisition.
Investigating officer PC Mark Jones, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: ‘The victims’ lives and those of their families have been tipped upside down due to Jason Zibarras deciding to drive so dangerously.
‘I would like to thank all the witnesses who have assisted this investigation and who are still affected by what they encountered at the scene.
‘I hope this sentence serves as a reminder to people who chose to drive in such a manner that there are consequences not only for them but for others too.’
