A Hollywood film star who apparently sees himself as a ‘bit of a chef’ has reportedly signed up for the new series of Celebrity MasterChef.
It won’t be long until hosts Gregg Wallace and John Torode are back in the kitchen with a new group of famous faces as casting draws to a close.
According to The Sun, one of the stars who will apparently appear in the upcoming series of the show is movie legend Tamer Hassan.
Tamer, 55, who is best known for co-starring with Danny Dyer in The Football Factory, also featured in Batman Begins (2005) and The Business (2005).
An insider told the publication: ‘Fans will be surprised but Tamer actually considers himself a bit of a chef when it comes to the kitchen.

‘He’s really competitive so when the BBC asked him to sign up he jumped at the chance. He’s determined to win!’
Tamer’s family have also entered the limelight in recent years as his daughter Belle, 26, appeared on the 2019 edition of Love Island.
The celebrity version of the cooking competition returns in 2024, but a specific air date has not yet been announced.
The show has so far secured a former X Factor star and a celebrity make-up artist as excitement builds for the new series.
Last year’s series was won by Welsh opera singer Wynne Evans, 52, better known as the ‘Go.Compare man’ from the company’s popular adverts.
Among the 20 stars battling out for the coveted MasterChef trophy will be singer and internet personality Jake Quickenden.
Jake, 35, appeared on The X Factor in 2012 and 2014. He missed out on the live shows in his first series and in his second, exited at Week 3.
Despite this, he became a household name when he participated in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! the very next month.
