Holly Willoughby is reportedly caught up in a row with new Netflix bosses after reports of her huge salary for reality show Bear Hunt was leaked.
Last month revealed that the presenter, 43, would co-hosting the new jungle themed show alongside Bear Grylls, followed by claims the streaming service had splashed out £10M on a star-studded line up.
It was also claimed that Holly had negotiated herself a ‘very attractive package’ bagging a £1M payday for her first show away from terrestrial television.
But according to The Mirror Netflix bosses, who are very protective of their financial figures, are said to be ‘very upset’ with the media coverage and have issued fresh warning to their stars over confidentiality.
A source told the publication: ‘Netflix is really strict about leaks and anything ahead of schedule. They had a meeting and brought up Holly’s new series, and said they were really upset about how it was leaked and there were so many varying reports about how much she had been paid to do the show’.

Adding: ‘It just isn’t its style. Netflix recruits credible talent – and to have potential earnings in the public domain wasn’t what it had expected.’

Netflix have said to have forked out on the line-up in order to keep up with major competitors such as I’m A Celeb and Strictly Come Dancing.
A source told The Sun: ‘Netflix are determined their collection will be largely killer, with very little filler. They’re not scrimping on paying six-figure fees and aren’t afraid to cough up more for the biggest names.
‘They’ll be shelling out an eight-figure sum in all, so the cast will be one of the most expensive in reality TV history.’
Bear Hunt will show Grylls hunting down the contestants and when he finds them they will be eliminated from the programme.
It is set to be filmed in May in the Costa Rican jungle, however won’t be aired until 2025.
Holly, who quit ITV’s This Morning last October following a plot to kidnap and murder her emerged, has been the face of daytime TV in the UK for over a decade and made herself a household name.

A show insider told : ‘It’s a great and such an exciting fresh series and of course a great challenge for Holly.
‘It’s a great opportunity for her.’
