Christopher Lambert, best known for his role as Connor MacLeod in Highlander, has been recovering from a back in jury he sustained while tripping on stairs at a hotel a few months ago.
The César Award-winning actor – who turns 68 this month – has been in physical therapy in order to get back in shape for his next project Tulipomania, his rep Lucas Confortini told TMZ on Thursday.
Christopher is also gearing up to promote his role as Mark in Simona Calo’s upcoming mystery drama Eyes Everywhere.
Lambert was evidently scheduled to appear at a Swedish convention called SciFiWorld this weekend, but his rep clarified: ‘While he has the highest respect for people organizing events and fans who attend; unfortunately this time he will not be able to attend the [event].’
