The 55-year-old supermodel appeared to be making the most of her afternoon as she took her four-legged friend out for a bit of exercise.

The fashion industry personality – who recently showed off her sculpted form during a beach photoshoot – wore a red fisherman sweater underneath a slightly oversized tan denim jacket as she stepped out.

Christensen also donned a pair of dark blue jeans and completed her look with leather boots and a pair of chic sunglasses.

Her beautiful brunette hair was primarily tied back into a bun, although much of her hair fell onto the sides of her face.

The runway regular opted for a much more dressed-down look in a pair of snaps that were shared on her Instagram account on Monday afternoon.

In her first photo, Christensen steadied herself on a boulder while stepping into a flowing creek.

The supermodel showcased a significant amount of skin in a jet-black one-piece swimsuit as she waded in the water.

The native of Denmark later changed into a bright yellow swimsuit before climbing onto a rock and staring off into the distance in her second snap.

Christensen tied her gorgeous brunette locks up into a loose bun during her wilderness excursion.

The supermodel spoke about her sense of dress during an interview with InStyle and opened up about her preferred method of organizing outfits.

‘I like mixing colors and patterns with classic and edgy styles. I guess my [outfit] formula is not really having one,’ she said.

The fashion industry figure added: ‘Big, cozy, comfortable pieces are always favorites, though.’

Christensen went on to speak about how she had learned to contrast more conventional pieces of clothing with bolder items.

‘I am a big fan of pairing classic wardrobe staples with more eclectic pieces to create an original look,’ she stated.

The creative director concluded by admitting that her sense of style had not changed all that much over the years.

‘I have more or less stuck to what I loved to wear since the beginning,’ she remarked.
