Helen Flanagan has revealed she and her ex Scott Sinclair locked horns over whether or not to homeschool their children.
The former Coronation Street star, 34, separated from the Bristol Rovers player in 2022 after 13 years and three children Matilda, 8, Delilah, 5, and Charlie, 3.
Sharing a snap of herself with her children while on holiday in Marbella, Helen told how she looked into homeschooling her children last year but Scott was strongly against the idea.
She wrote: ‘I don’t really like the routine of being back at school and I like being spontaneous and having the freedom with the kids.
‘I actually did look at home schooling last year when I was going to do a six months theatre tour and wanted them with me but their daddy really didn’t want them to home school even though it would only be for a short period of time.’

However, Helen added that she does see the benefits of keeping the kids in traditional schooling.
She wrote: ‘I definitely think it’s so important though for children to socialise.
‘I asked Matilda what her favourite part of the holiday was and it was all just about the friends she’s made and playing with other kids.’
Helen also told how she has found it difficult going on holidays with the children as a single parent.
She added: ‘Since being a single mummy I always go on holiday with my friend so I have an extra pair of hands with the kids as it would just be too hard with the travelling and Charlie can’t swim yet so constantly needs an eye on him x’.
It comes following reports that Helen has grown ‘smitten with another footballer’ two years after her split from Scott.
As she tries to ease herself back into the dating scene by starring on Celebs Go Dating, Helen enjoyed the company of another footballer at her 34th birthday party.
Helen celebrated at Manchester’s MNKY HSE wearing a ruffled pink gown last week, with co-stars including Lauryn Goodman.

This week it was revealed the actress was joined by former professional footballer and coach Robbie Talbot, 44, according to The Sun.
A source told the publication: ‘Helen’s absolutely smitten. They look so good together. She deserves to be happy after everything she’s been through recently.
‘She’s tried to keep things out of the public eye, but that’s become difficult as their feelings have grown for each other.
‘Helen made no secret of her new relationship at her party, but it is still early days.’
