Helen Flanagan returned to her ‘Northern girl’ roots after jetting back from the star-studded Cannes Film Festival.
The actress, 34, took to her Instagram Stories on Monday to give an insight into what she has been up to since arriving back in the UK from the A-list event.
She shared a photograph of herself with her hair rollers in as she tucked into a tasty wrap while enjoying a visit to a café.
The Coronation Street star cut a stylish figure in a bright pink jumper and penned that she is a ‘Northern girl’ in a caption alongside the snap.
She also posted a photograph of herself beaming alongside Bridgerton actress Ruby Barker, who played Marina on the Netflix show.

The friends appeared to be in good spirits as they hugged one another while posing for a mirror selfie during their fun-filled evening out.
Helen has recently returned from Cannes Film Festival, where she mixed with Hollywood’s elite alongside her fellow soap actress Michelle Keegan.
She was pictured strutting into the iconic Hotel Martinez on the French Riviera, where prices for a room during the festival begin from £2,000 per night for a Deluxe King Room and range up to £5,000 for a suite.
It was not known where Helen stayed during her time at Cannes. contacted her representatives for comment.
Cannes is where filmmakers, sales agents and journalists gather from around the world, and is the Olympics of the big screen, with its own golden prize, the Palme d’Or, given out at the end.
The festival, which was attended by A-listers including Emma Stone, Sophie Turner and Cate Blanchett, wrapped up with the closing ceremony on Sunday night.
Since returning to the UK, it was reported that Helen has called it quits with boyfriend Robbie Talbot, just over a year after the pair went public with their relationship.
Helen had previously hinted at wanting more children with the former non-league footballer, 45.

However, friends claimed the mother-of-three had a change of heart, according to The Sun, and she told Robbie their relationship ‘wasn’t working’.
A source told the publication: ‘They want different things in life. She has just landed a new acting job and is trying to juggle work projects with the kids.
‘She sat him down two weeks ago and said, ”This isn’t working”… She just wants to be on her own for a while although she still has feelings for him.’
Last month, Helen admitted she was no longer living with Robbie after he briefly moved into her home, admitting it wasn’t helpful for her children who ‘miss’ their dad.
Helen and her ex-fiance Scott Sinclair, 36, separated in 2022 after 13 years together. The pair share three children, Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and son Charlie, four.
Helen is currently in the process of selling her £1.5million house due to financial woes, following her split from Scott, which have left her ‘broke’.
She admitted her money issues had become so bad that she is being forced to move, and claimed she barely had enough cash to pay a £10 cab fare to get her son Charlie to nursery.
Helen said her ‘job really is being a mum at home’ and she had ‘enough money in my account to pay off my tax and my VAT and basically that’s about it’ – later adding that she has ‘enough money to pay my taxes, pay the mortgage and for a bit of tea’.

Despite the house already being on the market, Helen revealed she doesn’t know where she will move to next – admitting London might be too expensive.
The three-floored, six-bedroom property is spread over 5,000 square feet and is an ‘exceptional and beautifully presented detached family resident’.
If it sells for anywhere near asking price, Helen will gain a substantial profit on the £840,000 paid for it in June 2021, according to land registry documents.
But it is not known who will keep the profit, as land registry documents seen by the Daily Mail in January reveal that its registered with her ex-partner, footballer Scott.
In a recent court appearance for a speeding offence, Helen said she was ‘really struggling financially’ after raking in a fortune from Corrie and lucrative appearances on reality shows.
