Camilla Kerslake has pulled out of a tour with Alfie Boe on medical grounds, as she prepares to welcome her second child.
The classical singer and her husband Chris Robshaw announced last month that they are expecting their second child together.
Camilla was planning to support her friend Alfie on his UK tour but announced over the weekend she had pulled out at the last minute on the advice of doctors.
‘Due to concerns raised by medical professionals as well as the tour team, it has been decided that regrettably I should withdraw from supporting my good friend Alfie on his tour dates,’ she posted on Instagram, hours ahead of her scheduled first date in Skekness.

She continued: ‘My baby’s health needs to come first. The team have been incredibly supportive of my pregnancy, and I don’t want my health to become their responsibility.’
‘Following medical advice, internal discussions took place, and due to all the travel involved and overnight stays on the tour bus, it was decided that we should press pause.’
Camilla joked that the ‘good news is, at least Alfie won’t have to read any midwifery books, as we joked he might have ended up delivering my baby boy live on the stage!’
‘I’m obviously completely devastated and I hate letting people down more than anything. but I thank you, in advance, for all your support,’ she added before signing the post ‘CK and bump.’
Camilla was due to take to the stage in Skegness on June 30 and conclude a string of dates around the country with a performance in Blackpool on July 5.
Alfie announced on Sunday that Lady Rose had stepped in to replace Camilla.
Camilla, 35, took to Instagram last month to reveal that she was pregnant with her second son with the former rugby union player, 38.
Announcing the pregnancy, Camilla shared a snap of herself in a bikini on the beach with her three-year-old son Wilding, as he played in the sand.
