Halsey looked nearly naked for her new music video Lucky, which dropped on Friday.
The songbird has only underwear on with rhinestones over her body as she models a red wig.
The video is directed by Gia Coppola, who is the granddaughter of The Godfather director Francis Ford Coppola.
The song is inspired by the Britney Spears tune of the same name from year 2000.
Halsey channels Spears during that era. The video also features a cameo from actor Simon Rex who was Spears’ love interest at the time.

It also shows Halsey struggling with her health. ‘I shaved my head four times because I wanted to and then I did it one more time cause I got sick,’ Halsey sang.
‘I thought I changed so much nobody would notice s***, and no one did.
‘Then I left the doctor’s office full of tears / Became a single mom at my premiere / I told everybody I was fine for a whole damn year, and that’s the biggest lie of my career.’

Halsey revealed that she got permission from Spears to sample her song of the same name on Lucky.
Britney’s single Lucky was about a Hollywood starlet who appears to lead a charmed life while concealing the pain ‘in her lonely heart.’
Last week a fan asked Halsey on X, formerly Twitter, whether Britney was ‘involved’ in the decision to sample her song on Halsey’s next single.
Halsey, whose real name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, replied: ‘yes of course! I wouldn’t even dream of doing it without her blessing!’
Britney’s original song Lucky includes the chorus: ‘She’s so lucky, she’s a star, but she cry, cry, cries in her lonely heart, thinking: “If there’s nothing missing in my life, then why do these tears come at night?”‘
Halsey switched the lyric to first person for her own single, crooning: ‘But I’m so lucky, I’m a star, but I cry, cry, cry in the lonely heart thinking: “If there’s nothing missing in my life, then why do these tears come at night?”‘
As news broke that she was sampling Britney’s song, fans dug up an old interview that caused Halsey to be accused of slighting the Toxic singer.

The teaser came after Halsey revealed that she got permission from Britney Spears to sample her song of the same name on Lucky
She explained in 2017 that she had recently come to regard herself as a CEO after realizing she controlled more of her work than other pop stars.
‘At first, it was naivete,’ she told Fast Company. ‘I thought every artist did everything themselves. I thought Britney Spears wrote her own music – I thought every superstar was designing their own live stage show, so I always just did those things.’
After the interview went public, social media commentators started saying Halsey had taken a swipe at Britney – prompting Halsey to respond on social media.
‘Most stuff is easy to ignore but that one hurts cause I just love her and have always spoken highly of her and her genius is undeniable,’ she wrote on Twitter.
‘I love Britney so much and I wish people weren’t spreading stuff,’ she insisted. ‘All I said was it takes a lot of people to complete a song.’
Lucky is the second single from Halsey’s forthcoming fifth studio album, coming nearly two months after she released its lead single The End.
The End was a mournful acoustic ballad about someone throwing herself into a romance while battling a life-threatening illness.
Halsey, who has declared a preference for both ‘she’ and ‘they’ pronouns, has yet to reveal the title or release date of her next album.

Her fourth studio album, entitled If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, debuted in 2021 and was praised by the critics while also achieving commercial success.
Halsey, who welcomed her son Ender the month before the album came out, said the music was about ‘the joys and horrors of pregnancy and childbirth.’
Meanwhile, she released The End after suffering years of health problems including bipolar disorder, endometriosis and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), which causes the patient’s heart rate to quicken when sitting or standing up.
One day after The End came out, Halsey announced: ‘In 2022, I was first diagnosed with Lupus SLE and then a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder.’
She added: ‘Both of which are currently being managed or in remission; and both of which I will likely have for the duration of my life.’
A ‘T-Cell lymphoproliferative disorder’ can mean any number of conditions in which the body is producing an excessive amount of T-cells.
Various forms of leukemia and lymphoma are categorized as ‘T-Cell lymphoproliferative disorders,’ but Halsey did not name her specific ailment.
However, in an Instagram post about her treatments, she did tag The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as well as the Lupus Research Alliance.
Depending on the particular condition, symptoms of T-Cell lymphoproliferative disorders can include an enlarged liver, weakness, anemia and atypical bruising.

When The End was released, Halsey cryptically wrote on Instagram: ‘long story short, i’m Lucky to be alive’ – hinting at the title of the next single of her album.
On the romantic front, Halsey is dating the Canadian actor Avan Jogia, who shot to fame in Agnieszka Holland’s A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story.
Rumors of their relationship went into overdrive when they were spotted kissing in public in September 2023, and the following month they went Instagram official.
Halsey was seen wearing a ring on her engagement finger while enjoying a picnic with Avan in New York last week, fueling conjecture that wedding bells are incoming.
She shares her three-year-old son Ender with her ex-boyfriend Alev Aydin, whom she was with for more than three years before they cordially split early in 2023.
The singer-songwriter also famously dated her sizzling fellow musician G-Eazy, who is widely regarded as the inspiration for her scathing breakup single Without Me.
