Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed which former co-star could convince her to return to acting.
The Oscar winner, 51, stepped away from the big screen following 2019’s Avengers: Endgame and has put all her efforts into her own wellness business Goop.
She recently insisted she has no desire to return to the screen, but could be swayed if a certain person asked her back.
Speaking to ET at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York on Monday, Gwyneth explained who could ‘probably always’ get her back in front of the camera.
She explained: ‘Well, it would be very hard for me to do any acting right at the moment, just because of my job.’

Gwyneth added: ‘But, I guess Robert Downey Jr could probably always get me back. You know, to some degree.’
‘You know, to some degree,’ the actress laughed.
The two stars have made three Iron Man movies together as well as appearing in The Avengers series of films.
She was last seen as Pepper Potts, personal secretary snd later wife of Robert’s character Tony Stark for the seventh, and presumably final time, in Avengers: Endgame in 2019.
Gwyneth left the acting world after being featured in some of the biggest box office hits, including The Talented Mr. Ripley, Emma, Great Expectations, and the Iron Man franchise.
Recently, she revealed that she’s contemplated removing herself from the public eye completely.
‘I will literally disappear from public life,’ the stunning star said about her future retirement plans to Bustle. ‘No one will ever see me again.’
She echoed the sentiment later in the interview when asked if she would attempt to teach others how to age gracefully.

Persuading: Gwyneth said: ‘I guess Robert Downey Jr could probably always get me back’ (Robert pictured as Tony Stark / Iron Man with Gwyneth in Avengers: Endgame)
‘I’ll probably try, knowing myself. Or I might be like, “F*** this.” I might just disappear, and no one will ever see me again’.
For now, Gwyneth is focused on her wellness brand Goop, founded in 2008, but there’s an expiration date on it as well, as she hopes to sell the company in ‘a few more years’.
She said she will then turn her attention to more domestic issues, as she freely admits the work/life balancing act isn’t always easy.
‘I’m in a phase where I feel like things are just extra, extra messy because I have so much to do,’ she explained.
‘My son and stepson are both seniors in high school, and sometimes I feel like the college process is a full-time job in and of itself,’ she continued, referencing her son Moses, 17, whom she shares with her ex Chris Martin and her stepson Brody, 17, whom she shares with her husband Brad Falchuk.
Gwyneth also shares daughter Apple, 19, with Chris and stepdaughter Isabella with Brad.
