Gwyneth Paltrow shared a look at her sprawling Montecito mansion during her Thanksgiving feast on Thursday.
The 51-year-old Oscar-winning actress was generous with her images that she posted to Instagram on the annual holiday that she spent with kids Apple and Martin as well as her husband Brad Falchuk.
The fun photos also provided another look at her stunning home which she snapped up for almost $5million in 2016.
And eagle-eyed fans noticed an unusual design choice that she used for the living room that looks to be the latest hot trend.

New look: Gwyneth Paltrow shared a look at her sprawling Montecito mansion during her Thanksgiving feast on Thursday. And an unusual design choice was made. Can you spot it?
She has rugs on top of rugs.
The double rug look was spied when she posed with teen daughter Apple Martin.
And it was also seen in better detail in an image of her son Moses Martin playing a large black piano.
Putting rugs on top of rugs is a new design trend for a more layered look in a home.
‘The top rug becomes a feature framed by the bottom rug’ designer Trisha Knight told The Spruce.
‘We will often do this with a natural woven rug on the bottom and a light vintage inspired rug or natural shag on top.’
The site added it is best to avoid ‘mixing patterns when layering rugs. Ideally, Knight says, your top rug is patterned and your carpet is solid in color.’
In Paltrow’s case, she had a beige and light brown rug on top of a pale brown Sisal rug. Both were over a hardwood floor.

Her party looked like a good time.
The actress-turned-lifestyle guru kept it in casual-cool mode as she celebrated all that’s good in her life.
Just as they were setting up all the food on table, the Academy Award-winning actress – who recently revealed her wacky wellness rituals – struck a pose behind all the large tasty platters.
‘I didn’t cook this but it looks like I did,’ she joked in the caption of an Instagram Stories picture.
There were all kinds of delicious-looking entrees on that table that included things like stuffing and cranberry sauce, as well as a few other unknown dishes.

It looks as though the Los Angeles native decided to go all natural with no makeup for the holiday with family, all while looking lovely in a black spaghetti-strap dress.
In keeping with her laid back mode, Paltrow wore her blonde locks slightly messy and pushed back off her face in the front, but long and flowing in the back with a center part.
She also appears to have used some sort of hair tie to help keep long strands of hair back.
As the day went on Paltrow dropped the occasional photo on to her Instagram Stories, which included a sweet snap of daughter Apple giving her mum a kiss on the cheek.
The 19-year-old went with an elegant all-black ensemble, featuring a chic black dress, and her blonde tresses pulled back off her face in the front but worn long in the back.
A little later, mum and daughter posed together with their backs to the camera to showcase their matching black ribbons they both wore for the holiday feast.
The hostess went on to share a picture of the burning fireplace, along with an overhead of a cheese and vegetable plate.
There’s also a video that showcases some of the other lovely looking food dishes on the menu at the Paltrow-Falchuk residence.
‘Happy Thanksgiving everyone!’ the Shakespeare In Love star declared across the clip that pans a second table in the dinning room. ‘Sending so much love yo you and yours.

Following in the footsteps of his father Chris Martin, who just happens to be the frontman of the British rock band Coldplay, Moses was captured sitting behind the piano playing a ditty or two.
Moses, 17, looked stage-ready in a black suit and tie with a white dress shirt, and his light brown hair looking well-manicured.
The youngster was also captured on camera while seemingly in a contemplative mood leaning up against a wall in his classy suit.
Missing from action in the snaps was Paltrow’s husband, Brad Falchuk. Falchuk met Paltrow on the set of the musical comedy-drama in 2010.
They would start up a romance after her separation from Martin in 2014, which was eventually made public that same year when she described the process as ‘conscious uncoupling’.
