An n-New Zealand pop star resurfaced on Wednesday when he took to the stage at Blake Park in Tauranga.
Stan Walker, who has kept himself out of the spotlight in recent years, performed during the New Zealand Women’s Sevens Olympic Celebration.
He stunned onlookers as he belted out some of his greatest pop and R&B hits wearing the gold medal the women’s rugby team won at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The Loud hitmaker, 33, donned grey sweats from Earls Collection, worth $325, for the celebratory occasion.
Covering his head with a black beanie which matched his shoes, Stan finished off his casual look with chunky silver earrings.
Stan spent much of his upbringing moving between New Zealand and , before shooting to fame in 2009 after winning the seventh season of n Idol.
The singer made headlines in October 2019 when he spoke about getting his stomach removed after being diagnosed with stomach cancer two years prior.
Speaking on BUILD Series Sydney, Stan revealed he was on a strict diet and getting B12 shots every six weeks after undergoing the surgery in September 2017.

‘My body has forced me to be healthy,’ he said.
Stan is gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant and can’t eat greasy food.
‘Honest to God, it’s painful. I love eating. I love eating fast and I love eating heaps. I can’t eat fast, I have to take my time or I’ll get sick or I’ll spew up on stage,’ he said.

On the plus side, Stan said he felt ‘more energetic’ after the surgery.
In 2017, the songwriter was diagnosed with the rare-cancer causing gene, CDH1, which has already claimed the lives of 25 of his relatives.
He told Daily Mail in May 2018 that he was focused on the future.
‘Now I’m going to live my best life and I’m going to do everything I can to make sure that I’m living my dreams and not just sitting there and kind of just waiting for somebody else to tell me I can do this now,’ he said.
Stan is still continuing his music career after winning n Idol in 2009 – when he was just 18 years old.
He won against rock chick runner up Hayley Warner.
