Pearl Jam is set to return to for the first time in ten years.

On Wednesday, the American rockers announced three stadium shows Down Under as part of their Dark Matter world tour.

The Seattle grunge legends have been confirmed to play Heritage Bank Stadium on the Gold Coast on November 13, Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on November 16, and Giants Stadium in Sydney on November 21.

There was speculation the rock group would play an Adelaide 500 Supercars show in November, but the event was not mentioned in the tour announcement.

The tour coincides with the launch of the band’s 12th studio album, Dark Matter, set to release on April 19, the same day their Universal Records label-mate Taylor Swift unveils her 11th album, The Tortured Poets Department.

In an extra treat for ’90s alternative rock lovers, the band will be supported by indie rock legends The Pixies.

Back in December, Pearl Jam hinted that they would make their way back to for the first time since headlining the Big Day Out festivals in 2014.

Taking to social media, they posted, ‘Are you koala-fied for our ticket presales? Not a current member? Hop to it, mate!’
