Jack Grealish managed to attend a final on Sunday, sadly he wasn’t anywhere near the England camp as Gareth Southgate’s team prepare to face Spain at Euro 2024.
The Manchester City midfielder was controversially dropped by Southgate ahead of the tournament, which has taken place across Germany since June 14, and has been forced to watch from home as they marched towards the final in Berlin.
But with kick-off scheduled for 8:00pm, Grealish, 28, had enough time to attend another final – the men’s singles at Wimbledon – just days after confirming his long-term girlfriend Sasha Attwood is pregnant with their first child.
Taking to Instagram on July 7, the midfielder shared a picture of himself holding Sasha’s growing baby bump to break the news.
The England footballer captioned his Instagram post ‘Life’s biggest blessing,’ while Sasha wrote: ‘Half of me, half of you – beyond blessed.’

It is thought 10 relatives – including Attwood, his parents, two sisters and brother – were at the property at the time of the burglary.
Sharing a picture of himself with his dog, Grealish addressed the incident for the first time on Instagram on Sunday, describing the incident as ‘traumatic’.
His family were forced to run and hide for cover inside the £5.6million mansion that Grealish only moved into before Christmas, while police told neighbours to lock their doors and stay in their homes.
Police, fearing they could face a potential hostage situation, rushed to the scene and even had a helicopter search the area, but the offenders were able to escape with £1million worth of jewellery.
Wimbledon will likely be the first of two finals watched by Grealish, with England taking on Spain in the Euro 2024 final on Sunday evening
