When the latest instalment of Molly-Mae Hague’s ‘tell-all’ documentary series is released next month, its conclusion will hardly be a revelation to close watchers of the social media star.
Despite the 25-year-old’s best attempts to be discreet about her reunion with her on-off boyfriend Tommy Fury, the pair were caught on camera jetting off on a romantic break by fans who spotted them at the airport.
Perhaps it was giving away their TV happy ending, following their highly-publicised split that rocked Generation Z last August.
That didn’t stop the mother-of-one posting a carefully curated collection of photos from the holiday, which made it appear as if it was a solo trip with her two-year-old daughter Bambi, who she shares with professional boxer Tommy, 25. She captioned it: ‘A very wholesome time was had.’
But in one of the adorable snaps of Molly-Mae cradling her little one in a restaurant, a mirror can be spotted in the background and the photographer is revealed: Tommy Fury.
Super sleuths pointed out the slip-up and many once devoted fans expressed their disappointment online.

Last month, the mother-of-one posted a carefully curated collection of photos from a trip to Dubai to make it appear as if it was just a holiday with her daughter, two-year-old Bambi. She captioned her Instagram post: ‘A very wholesome time was had.’

In one of the adorable snaps cradling Bambi that she posted on her feed, sleuths pointed out that a mirror in the background reveals exactly who was taking the photo: Molly’s supposed ‘ex’, Tommy Fury.
Now even those once close to the couple are growing weary of their bizarre antics.
A former associate of the pair said: ‘There is so much smoke and mirrors with Tommy and Molly. They give away so much of their lives online, but she has quickly realised that real life is not like a television show, and she can’t control everything as much as she tries.’
The latest revelation into their private life has piqued interest at a busy time for the couple. Just this week filming wrapped on part two of Molly-Mae: Behind It All, her multimillion-pound series with Amazon Prime, which she is desperate to get renewed for another series.
While Tommy, who blamed the split on a previously undisclosed drinking problem, has bagged a major new series for BBC Three titled Tommy: The Good, The Bad, The Fury which has been billed as his ‘attempt to get his life back on track the only way a Fury knows how’.
In the last few weeks a new line of Molly-Mae’s designer clothing range Maebe has gone on sale, as her PR team have been sending out freebies to trusted influencers, who will no doubt post gushing videos online about their ‘haul’.
‘It seems one hell of a coincidence,’ my insider said. ‘It feels there is often a new project on the horizon when a revelation about the state of their relationship becomes public. People will start to feel like they are being taken for fools.’
It’s certainly not an impression that a young woman whose brand was built on being, in her own words: ‘very, very open’, ‘very, very honest’ and a ‘girl who wears her heart on her sleeve’ would want to create.
When Tommy was omitted from her Dubai haul of pictures despite the vast coverage of them on holiday together, Molly-Mae took to YouTube to explain her actions.

This week, filming wrapped on part two of the first series of Molly-Mae: Behind It All, the influencer’s multi-million-pound reality series with Amazon Prime

She told her two million subscribers: ‘I don’t want you guys to think I’m not being honest about who went on the holiday to Dubai. I did do a big talking section that we were going with Tommy but I didn’t want to put it in the last vlog because I didn’t want anxiety.
‘The only reason I’ve not spoken about it is I’m not ready to. I don’t know if I’m ready to talk about it, I was a bit nervous and I didn’t need to explain that I was going with Tommy.
‘It’s obviously not a secret, we’re just figuring things out. We had a really amazing time, probably the best holiday ever for all of us.
‘It’s not that I’m hiding it, I’m not quite ready to talk about it. It’s also private, but also it’s not really private.
‘When you have a relationship in the public eye, trying to rebuild that relationship or work on that relationship or see if you have something worth saving.
‘You can’t figure things out the way a normal relationship would. You can’t do the normal things a couple trying to work on their relationship normally do like going on walks or getting coffee.’
But the Dubai holiday wasn’t the first time the pair had been spotted rekindling their romance. Just weeks after the initial break announcement, there were reports Tommy was spending the night at the £4million home they once shared together.
Then at Manchester United star Luke Shaw’s New Year’s Eve party, they were spotted in the background of grainy phone camera footage kissing.
Before another reunion this Sunday to mark Mother’s Day. The pair were spotted arriving separately at a Cheshire pub in their matching £200,000 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagons after spending the day with Bambi at the Lowry Theatre.
It has now led some more cynical fans who were heartbroken that the fairytale love story had ended, to ask whether the split was ever real in the first place.
For Molly’s part she has always insisted the break-up was ‘very, very real’, adding: ‘Going through all of this with the turmoil of a break-up has been incredibly hard. To have those comments – and I see all of them – and people saying, “This has obviously just been done for the launch of her brand or a publicity stunt”, that is very painful to read because it’s real life.’
So when Molly-Mae appears for three more episodes of Behind It All when it drops on May 9, will we finally get to hear what is really going on?
‘Expect much of the same,’ says my snitch. ‘She won’t be giving everything away. There will be talk of her business, doing her best for Bambi, and, of course, her thoughts on Tommy. But Tommy has not filmed for Molly’s show.’
‘She will want Amazon to pay for another season before they can get their happy ending.’
