Police hold grave concerns for the welfare of the 20-year-old who last spoke to his family over a video call after he reached the top of Pinnacle Point near Halls Gap.

Jack’s mother Katrina Baulch has urged anyone nearby to assist in the efforts to locate her son.

‘Jack walked the Pinnacle at Halls Gap late yesterday and hasn’t returned,’ Ms Baulch told the Herald Sun.

‘He’s been uncontactable since 7.30pm.’

Jack also has very limited equipment to help him manage the rugged terrain and weather conditions at the park.

Search and rescue efforts are well underway with emergency services including Victoria Police, SES Volunteers and the Air Wing joining forces to find Jack.

Jack’s vehicle was found at School Road, metres away from Halls Gap.

Jack has been described as being 175cm tall with a slim build and has brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, spotted blue shorts, and a brown rimmed hat.

He was also wearing a pair of black shoes.
