Graham has been involved in Grammy weekend festivities this weekend, as she attended The Recording Academy’s Special Merit Awards held at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles Saturday.

Graham took to Instagram earlier Thursday as she said it had been ‘an incredible honor to be able to present’ her longtime colleague with the honors.
‘Congratulations @knaanstagram on your Grammy Award for “Refugee” Best Song for Social Change at the Special Merit Awards,’ Graham said. ‘From our journey of being label mates (now over 10 years ago!) on A&M records, to having the privilege of being a part of your well deserved recognition.
‘Thank you for using your platform and talents to bring awareness to the plight of refugees.’
Graham said that having her ‘two humanitarian worlds brought together with’ The Recording Academy and the UN Refugee Agency ‘was an absolute dream come true’ and ‘felt like the deepest confirmation of alignment.’
She continued: ‘So honored to be a part of the UN Refugee Agency and Recording Academy family. Two organizations that work tirelessly to protect, empower and support the world’s most vulnerable.

This year SZA tops the nominations with a total of nine nods, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song Of The Year. Taylor Swift follows close behind with six nominations, and will also be competing against SZA in the three aforementioned categories.
The majority of Swift’s nominations were for her acclaimed album Midnights and its single Anti-Hero, which earned some of the best reviews of her career.
That track is up for Record of the Year, a category that honors the artists who recorded the song and its producers and engineers, as well as for the Song of the Year category, which honors songwriters. SZA’s track Kill Bill has also been nominated in both categories.
Swift has already made history in the Album of the Year category, currently tied for three previous wins with music legends Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder.
However, she is now poised to become the first-ever person to win the category four times if Midnights ends up victorious this year.
Billie Eilish and Miley Cyrus are also both up for six awards. Eilish’s nominations include Song and Record of the Year for her hit single from the Barbie soundtrack, What Was I Made For? while Cyrus has the chance to win her first ever Grammy this year with her nominations.
