Pedro Pascal surprised fans when he arrived at the 2024 Golden Globes wearing a black sling due to a mystery injury.
The 48-year-old actor would only say on the red carpet that he injured his arm in a fall though he didn’t reveal much else.
‘Be careful. Exactly, it can happen to anybody,’ he said to reporters from the Associated Press on the red carpet.
Pascal was nominated for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series – Drama for his work on HBO’s The Last Of Us.
He ultimately lost out to Succession star Kieran Culkin, with Brian Cox – Succession, Dominic West – The Crown, Gary Oldman – Slow Horses and Jeremy Strong – Succession rounding out the nominees.

Pascal stepped out wearing a black dress shirt that featured a number of different types of knots in white.
He also stepped out with black glasses with a scruffy beard, accessorizing with a black sling that held his right arm.
The actor completed his look with black pants and shiny black dress shoes fo the awards ceremony.
Pascal played Joel in The Last Of Us, HBO’s adaptation of the smash hit video game series.
The show follows Joel and Ellie (Bella Ramsey), who take a journey across a post-apocalyptic America on an important mission.
The show ended in the same way the first game did, with Joel telling Ellie a horrible lie to get her to trust him.
The show has beeen renewed for a second season, which will start production later this year and debut sometime in 2025.
The ceremony will feature the debut of two new categories: Cinematic and Box Office Achievement and Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television.

In June, billionaire Todd Boehly was granted approval to dissolve the HFPA and reinvent the Golden Globes as a for-profit organization.
Its assets were acquired by Boehly’s Eldridge Industries, along with Dick Clark Productions, a group that is owned by Penske Media whose assets also include Variety, Deadline, The Hollywood Reporter, Rolling Stone and Billboard.
In mid-November, CBS announced that it would air the ceremony on the network on Jan. 7. It will also stream on Paramount+.
The group nominating and voting for the awards is now made up of a more diverse group of over 300 people from around the world.
