House of Cards actress Robin Wright was seen taking a break from filming her upcoming thriller series in London on Friday.
The 58-year-old Golden Globe winner appeared almost unrecognizable as she strolled down the street, smoking a cigarette in the heart of the U.K. capital, where she’s both directing and starring in The Girlfriend.
Wright sported a cream cable-knit sweater paired with stylish faded jeans, looking absorbed in a phone conversation as she animatedly chatted while walking along the pavement.
After finishing her cigarette, which she stubbed out on the ground, she slung a backpack over her shoulders and stood near a row of bicycles.
The former wife of Sean Penn seemed to relish the brief downtime, as her new Amazon Prime series, an eagerly anticipated adaptation of Michelle Frances’ novel The Girlfriend, continues to draw significant attention.

The truth is a matter of perspective.’
