A 24-year-old female teacher at a private Catholic school has been arrested for allegedly sending nudes to a 14-year-old student over Snapchat.
Alanis Pinion is accused of frequently using the app to communicate with her eighth-grade students at St. Mary Magdalen School in Wilmington, Delaware.
The school charges fees of over $10,000 per year and serves a devout Catholic community – emphasizing the practice of service to God and worship alongside education.
New Castle County Police said Pinion sent ‘sexually explicit photographs’ to one 14-year-old boy – and they are ‘concerned’ there could be more child victims.
Pinion was arrested on Thursday and charged with sexual solicitation of a child under 18 and endangering the welfare of a child – both felony offenses.
