A Ukrainian superyacht stewardess who was caught on a doorbell camera beating up her three-year-old son has avoided jail time.
Yulia Storozhuk, 29, became emotional as she took a plea deal negotiated with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s office on Thursday.
The mom was caught on a neighbor’s Ring doorbell camera hurling her defenseless child down a hallway before kicking him multiple times.
‘I am very sorry, I’m a single mom and it was only one incident where I let my emotions get the better of me,’ Storozhuk previously told the court through an interpreter, NBC reports.
Her pleas appeared to appease Judge Carmen Carbarga who sentenced her to three years’ probation.

Storozhuk was filmed throwing and kicking her son along a hallway at their Florida home last year
Storozhuk has avoided jail time and must take a mental health evaluation and parenting classes.
The attack last year left her son covered in scratches and bruises, and he was moved into the care of a foster family.
She told police she had begun hitting the youngster because he was refusing to listen to her.
In the video, Storozhuk can be seen aggressively picking up her son and slamming him to the floor of their Sunny Isles apartment building.
The little boy is tossed in air and lands on the hard floor with a sickening thud.

She then kicks him at least three times along the hallway, before grabbing him by the collar and dragging and kicking him some more.
Footage from 40 minutes later shows her shoving the boy in the chest, causing him to fly backwards and smack onto the floor.
The shocking incident was reported to police by a concerned neighbor, who caught the attack on their ring doorbell camera.
‘How can a mother do this? I mean, she is a monster,’ a spokesman for Miami Dade police said at the time.
She previously told the court she had let her emotions get the better of her and the abuse had only occurred once
Reviewing the footage Carbaga said the attack ‘warrants jail time’ however, she considered a psychologist’s recommendation that the mother and child are reunited.
Storozhuk was forbidden from disciplining her son physically ever again and warned she could land in jail if she does not adhere to the rule.
By accepting the plea, she could now face deportation back to her native Ukraine.
