Actress Christine Baranski and singer King Princess sparked dating dating rumors this week.

Fans online speculated that the 73-year-old Gilded Age star — who criticized Gayle King and Katy Perry days ago — and 26-year-old singer were in a May-December lesbian romance after the two were spotted holding hands during two red carpet appearances.

Adding fuel to the fire, King — whose real name is Mikaela Mullaney Straus — shared two Instagram photos of them looking cozy at the re-opening night of Mamma Mia on Broadway.

She captioned the mid-week post to her 755,000 followers, ‘#loveislove.’

‘My fave thing about this is idk if this is real or not,’ one person commented, collecting over 3,000 likes.

And someone else referenced another Hollywood couple, hilariously adding, ‘omg hi sarah paulson and holland taylor xx.’

In the write-up, King Princess warned Christine to take caution with how she explained their bond, warning that ‘people will talk.’

The Trolls star subsequently teased, ‘Our first date — let’s give them something to talk about — we actually got dressed up and finally had dinner.’

‘We sat at the bar, ordered our martinis, and suddenly we’re talking about our grandmothers who deeply affected and influenced our lives. I think that’s where we profoundly bonded,’ she recalled.

The ladies met in Munich, Germany while they appeared as co-stars on season two of the Nicole Kidman-led Hulu series Nine Perfect Strangers.

Mikaela played the role of Tina on the show, described as an irritable lesbian pianist with ‘rage issues.’

She said about the opportunity, which was her first major acting gig, ‘I wanted to have fun, meet people, learn something new, and learn about a craft.’

In their conversational interview, Christine described Mikaela as ‘perfectly cast.’

The younger actress noted, ‘What I like about Tina is that it’s a relatable storyline for people in their late 20s.

‘I feel like everyone has felt this way at some point, where you’re in the chrysalis but the butterfly is not coming out. Something is not working in her life and it’s making her really angry. Instead of figuring out what that is, she’s taking it out on everyone.’

Meanwhile, the seasoned entertainer plays Victoria, who has a deep, dark secret and joins the series-centered wellness retreat with her estranged daughter.

Elsewhere in the interview, Christine said her newly-minted connection with Mikaela is ‘possibly the greatest gift.’

‘We’ve curiously bonded and wanted to remain friends. That’s a great gift,’ she stated.

Christine was married to Matthew Cowles from 1983 until the time of his death at age 69 in 2014. They shared daughters Isabel, 41, and Lily, 37.

Mikaela was previously in a relationship with Lizzo’s creative director Quinn Wilson from 2019-2023.
