Local residents are both shocked and angry by what happened.

‘It’s just bad. And karma is real – God don’t like ugly,’ said Nene who is also a mother to a four-year-old girl, to Boston25 News.

‘That’s sad because that could be their father and I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t want that to be done to their dad,’ she added.

It was a view also shared by other riders of Boston’s T subway.

‘Definitely, there’s always precautions but you shouldn’t be that way. It’s a safe town and we should all feel safe on our town so I hope they get caught and justice is served,’ he said.
