alert-–-from-married-at-first-stars-to-the-cast-of-real-housewives-of-sydney:-all-the-famous-faces-brutally-snubbed-from-the-2025-logie-awardsAlert – From Married At First stars to the cast of Real Housewives of Sydney: All the famous faces brutally snubbed from the 2025 Logie Awards

It is only a week until the highly anticipated 2025 TV WEEK Logie Awards – and famous faces are gearing up for one of the biggest nights in television.

With beloved rocker Jimmy Barnes set to take the stage at The Star Sydney on August 3, and Sam Pang hosting the event for the third time, the annual celebration has been the talk of the town.

However, while tongues have been wagging about the stacked guest list, they’ve also been noting the glaring absences, with a slew of stars from ‘s favourite shows set to miss the red carpet event next week.

Some of the biggest names to not to make the guest list include MasterChef 2024 runner-up Josh ‘Pezza’ Perry, The Block’s Ricky Recard and the whole of the Married At First Sight cast.

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle about the brutal cast snub, MAFS bride Jamie Marinos revealed she had long doubted that she and her co-stars would receive an invite to the Logies.

‘To be honest, I felt like there was all this talk that we were gonna get invited, but I just didn’t trust it, so I actually booked a trip to Europe and I’m doing my own kind of publicity tour in London,’ she said.

‘None of us were bloody invited,’ she revealed, adding: ‘It’s a shame because I know the rest of the cast probably would have been looking forward to it too. I would have loved to have gone to the Logies with everyone.’

Despite the cast being left off the invite list, love experts John Aiken and Alessandra Rampolla will be in attendance to represent the popular show.

However, MAFS isn’t the only program that has seen cast members snubbed while their judges make the cut.

The Block’s Scott Cam and Shelley Craft received a Logies invite, however the teams from last year’s 20th season – including fan-favourite Ricky Recard – did not.

Similarly, Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge of My Kitchen Rules will be in attendance, but the teams from the 2024 season – including champion Simone Preste – are understood to be missing it.

Despite Real Housewives of Sydney being nominated for the first time at the Logies, none of the show’s stars were invited to the glitzy event.

Victoria Montano said she was under ‘no misconceptions’ over whether production would prioritise themselves for a seat at the ceremony, despite the Housewives opening up their lives for public consumption’.

MasterChef judges Sofia Levin and Poh Ling will be at the Logies, with Poh up for the most coveted award of the night, The Gold Logie.

However, 2024 runner-up Josh Perry revealed that he didn’t receive an invite, despite first and second place winners attending the ceremony in the past.

It is not yet known if Farmer Wants A Wife host Natalie Gruzlewski and n Survivor host Jonathan LaPaglia will be at the ceremony, but it’s highly unlikely considering Natalie’s 10 year red carpet hiatus and Jonathan’s recent axing by Channel 10.

As for n Idol, this year’s winner 19-year-old Marshall Hamburger will be in attendance, as will host Ricki-Lee Coulter, who is up for the Most Popular Presenter award, but it is not known if other contestants received an invitation.

The Logie nominations were officially announced in June at the Sydney Opera House, seeing a slew of Aussie favourites up for big awards in television.

As for fans watching at home, voting is now open and will remain so until 7pm on Friday, August 1.

The ceremony will be available to watch on Seven and 7Plus.
