Four men have been arrested after the fatal shooting of two people at a beachside property in Rye, on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.
Charlyze Hayter, 19, and Jackson Gilmour, 29, were allegedly killed inside Mr Gilmour’s Parson Street home in Rye in the early hours of December 2.
Police on Friday arrested a 24-year-old man and a 25-year-old man from Narre Warren, in Melbourne’s south-east, as well as a 24-year-old man from Narre Warren South and a 28-year-old man from Narre Warren North.

Mr Gilmour was asleep inside the property on December 2 when Ms Hayter and an unknown man armed with a rifle allegedly broke into the home shortly after 4am.
Both Mr Gilmour and Ms Hayter were allegedly shot during an ensuing struggle.
Police were called to the house shortly after 4am on Monday, December 2, following reports of a loud row between a group of people at the property.
Officers discovered Mr Gilmour and Ms Hayter with critical gunshot wounds inside the home.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, they died at the scene.
Victoria Police said at the time Mr Gilmour and the two intruders were known to each other and launched an extensive manhunt for Ms Hayter’s alleged accomplices, amid concerns there was a gunman on the loose.
Mr Gilmour, who was affectionately known as Jack to friends, had lived on the Mornington Peninsula for more than 10 years.
