A Miami yacht club owner turned himself in on Tuesday to face charges for leaving a man bloodied after a fight at a night club on New Year’s Day.
Michael Lupolover, 43, surrendered at the Miami Beach Police Department on an aggravated battery charge, reported Local 10.
Lupolover is owner of the exclusive Miami based Lupo Yacht Club, where members can access a fleet of yachts worth over $3 million for $5,000 a month, according to its website.
He also runs a law firm specializing in debt relief and is a licensed attorney in New York, New Jersey and Washington, DC.
According to a Miami Beach Police Department report obtained by the local news network, cops were called to a fight at nightclub Queen Miami Beach at 1:40 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
Lupolover reportedly ‘approached’ a man ‘and began to tell him that he does not belong there’ and ‘throughout the night,’ continued to approach his table and ‘flip(ped) his middle finger’ at the victim.
Police said a brawl erupted and Lupolover hit the man on the head with a glass cup, ‘which caused a laceration to open above his right eye.’
It is unclear if the two men knew each other, and Lupolover left the establishment before officers arrived.

Police collected witness statements and surveillance video that backed up the victim’s account of the incident.
Over a month later, Lupolover turned himself into police and declined to speak with investigators, according to the report.
A judge ordered he be held on a $5,000 bond Wednesday and issued him a stay-away order from the victim, Local 10 reported.
Jail records show he is being held in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center and there is no court hearings scheduled.
Lupolover says in his law firm biography: ‘I take pride in my work and providing guidance about assisting with financial issues and consumer protection laws.
‘My passion is to help people and businesses find the best options to resolve their financial concerns. I enjoy boating, fishing and traveling. Most importantly, I am happily married with two beautiful children.’
He opened Lupo Yachts in 2020 ‘after years of chartering his personal vessel to friends and family,’ according to his website.
‘The company has grown to include a total of 3 vessels and has expanded its coverage to include the Bahamas, Sunny Isles, and South Florida, cruising much of the Exumas and the Eastern Florida coastline.
