Channel Ten has dropped the first teasers for the new season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! with big hints about which stars will be appearing.

It has been revealed that a controversial TV star, a gold medalist and a royally loved international comedian will take part.

As the exciting teasers were shared to social media, fans were quick to share their theories on which famous faces will be jetting to South Africa for the show. 

The first clue, which was posted to Instagram on Sunday, hinted: ‘We can also confirm… this Controversial TV Star is, in fact controversial.’

The second clue shared that ‘a gold medalist is diverting from Paris to the African jungle’ and the celebrity is ‘a real trailblazer’.

‘An international comic loved by the royals,’ was the most recent clue posted for fans to guess. 

Hundreds of fans took to the Instagram comments section to take their guesses on who the celebrity contestants may be.

In response to the mystery hint about an international comedian featuring among the line-up, fans shared their hopes that Ross Noble, Michael McIntyre or Jack Whitehall would be the star.

They wrote: ‘Michael McIntyre lol;’ ‘PLEASE MICHAEL MCLNTYRE;’ ‘Ross Noble?;’ ‘I hope Michael McIntyre!!;’ ‘I’m going with Jack Whitehall!!’

Giving their theories on who the ‘controversial’ TV star is, some fans were convinced using the word ‘roving’ in the post was hinting towards comedian Rove McManus.

Fans speculated: ‘Rove. Says it in the ad. Roving and its in Controversial;’ ‘Roving?? rove mcmanus??’ ‘Rove is in the word controversial.’

However, others threw new names into the mix as they shared their theories that it could be a Married At First Sight or Love Island star.

Social media users also shared their theories that swimmer and Olympic gold medallist Mack Horton could be joining the line-up.

They excitedly penned: ‘Mack Horton;’ ‘Either Mack Horton or Ian Thorpe;’ ‘I’m going with Mack Horton.’

The tenth season of the hit reality show will be filmed in South Africa and will be presented by Julia Morris, 44, alongside first time host Robert Irwin, 20.

Robert beat out big names Sam Pang, Jimmy Rees, Curtis Stone, Beau Ryan and Tristan MacManus for the hosting role.

The network had a hard task replacing popular host Dr Chris Brown, with Robert’s natural charm impressing during his audition.

According to reports, A-listers are ‘desperate’ to appear on the show due to their friendship with the handsome Wildlife Warrior.

‘The Irwins have more than a fair share of A-list celebrities in their circle including the Hemsworths and Melissa Joan Hart, who is the most rumoured contestant this year,’ a production insider told Yahoo! Lifestyle.

The show will premiere on Sunday, 24 March.
