Festivalgoers have been left in shock after a punter shared the ‘absolutely wild’ price for six beers.

Visitors at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida, last weekend had to have deep pockets if they wanted to purchase drinks on festival grounds.

Six cans of beers like Stella Artois and White Claw as well as Red Bull cost $80 (£61), causing outrage online.

‘It’s crazy people think this is cool and a flex. Absolutely wild to me,’ one said on X after a punter shared a photo of the 2025 price list for bottles and packages.

‘That’s basically straight up robbing people,’ another said, while a third commented: ‘This is insane.’

Some even dubbed the prices ‘criminal’ and ‘illegal’. One user joked: ‘I’ll settle for the $28 (£21) water bottle thank you.’

The Ultra festivals happen all over the world and are some of the biggest events in the electronic music scene.

The latest installment in Miami attracted 160,000 guests from across the globe.

Well-known artists like Alesso, Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Skrillex, Tiesto, Axwell, Timmy Trumpet and Steve Aoki took the stage at Bayfront Park, Miami.

Three-day tickets to the Ultra Music Festival start at about $350 (£270), while VIP tickets come with a price tag of at least $1,500 (£1160) based on prices for 2026.

The 25th anniversary edition of the festival on the weekend even saw David Guetta, Sia and Afrojack perform their iconic 2011 hit Titanium live together for the first time ever.
