Nicole Kidman has sparked fears that she is going to suffer from a ‘burnout’ after throwing herself into her work with a jam-packed film schedule.

The n actress, 57, has recently dominated screens having already filmed four major Hollywood project all slated for release this year in an impressive feat.

She has also already signed up for another project, upcoming six-part crime series Scarpetta, as she shows no signs of slowing down from her career high.

However, her busy schedule is said to have sparked concern she could suffer a ‘burnout’ from overloading herself with the releases and their full-on press tours.

A source claimed that people are particularly concerned for Nicole as she is currently also dealing with her grief following the death of her mother Janelle. 

Janelle died at the age of 84 last month – just hours before Nicole was awarded the Best Actress gong for her role in Babygirl at the Venice Film Festival.

‘Nicole is still looking as amazing as always but she’s been through so much, and she seems to be dealing with her grief by throwing herself into work,’ a source told Woman’s Day magazine.

‘There are times when she sleeps on a plane more than a bed. Everyone’s worried about her.’

The source claimed Nicole will have to delve into some ‘dark places’ to play the titular role in intense crime drama Scarpetta, adding to worries for the star.

‘Nicole insists she is perfectly fine but her schedule is non-stop. There’s a lot of expectation to pull herself off Scarpetta,’ they continued.

‘It’s a grizzly crime drama and she’ll be going to some dark places.’

With production currently underway, Nicole will take on the lead role in Scarpetta, a new Amazon series based on Patricia Cornwell’s mystery books and co-starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Ariana DeBose.

She is set to appear on screens four times this year, having already starred alongside Zac Efron in Netflix’s age gap rom com A Family Affair, which came out in June.

The Big Little Lies star is also slated to appear in another very steamy age gap romance, Babygirl, which is slated for release in December.

Babygirl sees Nicole star as a married company boss who falls for her young intern, who is played by Harris Dickinson, 28, and they embark on a steamy affair together.

Lastly, she returned to her role as Kaitlyn Meade in series two of Special Ops: Lioness’ and graced the red carpet at the star-studded premiere over the weekend.

Nicole recently reflected on her jam-packed working life and told how she finds it difficult to take a break away from the cameras and simply take time for herself.

‘It’s very hard for me to go, ”Okay, I’m just going to take care of myself,” because I’m so much about taking care of other people,’  she told Variety. 

‘I’m thinking, ”I can create more work for people. I can create jobs for people.” And also, I love it. I have the passion.

‘I’ve just got to take care of my body. I wish I had superpowers because I would love to be everywhere.’

She recently suffered a personal tragedy after her beloved mother Janelle passed away, with Nicole flying back to for the funeral earlier this month. 

Nicole spent a few days in her native Sydney with her sister Antonia and her extended family as they all said a final goodbye to the Kidman matriarch.

Nicole was supported by her husband Keith Urban and their two daughters Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 14, before they all flew back to Los Angeles together.

Last month, a grief-stricken Nicole had been forced to leave Venice Film Festival – where she won the Best Actress gong for Babygirl – because of her mother’s death.

‘Today I arrived in Venice to find out shortly after, that my beautiful, brave mother Janelle Ann Kidman has just passed,’ Nicole revealed in a statement read by director Halina Reijn.

‘I am in shock and I have to go to my family, but this award is for her, she shaped me, she guided me, and she made me.

‘I am beyond grateful that I get to say her name to all of you through Halina, the collision of life and art is heart-breaking, and my heart is broken. We love you all.’

Nicole was born in Honolulu and raised in Sydney by Janelle and her psychologist father Antony alongside Antonia. 

Nicole was left devastated when he died of a heart attack in September 2014 at the age of 75.
