The second season of Love On The Spectrum US has been releaased on Netflix and  fans have been delighted to see some of their favourite cast members return.

The show follows the dating lives on several people who have autism and season two was released on January 19 2024.

We see ‘proud nerd’ James B. Bond, 35, return to the show and he’s delighted when he finally get his first kiss AND a successful second date with special needs teacher Maggie.

Maggie seems rather enthralled with James and his knowledge of medieval history and it seems they are a real love match when they decide to go on a third date.

Yet there is a twist in store because the end credits reveal the pair decided not to pursue their romance.

James has a passinonate kiss with Maggie at the end of the show, leaving fans believing he has finally found love – until it’s revealed that they split and he went onto date a single mother

The end credits revealed that James was now in a relationship with a single mother.

However it seems that relationship has sadly also soured because his latest Instagram posts indicate that he is once again single.

James has said that he doesn’t ever want to have children or pets for that matter and that is a non-negotiable for him.

He is one of the best-known original cast members from Series 1 and his return to Series 2 saw his love life running a little smoother than it had in the past even if it didn’t quite result in a happy ending.

James’s dates with Maggie showed he knew exactly how to impress when he sweetly remembered Maggie’s love for frogs and tried his best to find the brunette beauty some frog-shaped gummies, but was unsuccessful.

Instead, he turned up with an adorable gummy flower bouquet to express his feelings for her.

The pair met at the Castle Hill on the Crane Estate, a beautiful sprawling mansion in New England, where James started to point out the Greek goddesses he could recognise from the statues in the garden.

He then planted a kiss on Maggie, after seeking her permission and the two kissed once more.

While things between the pair started heating up, it was later revealed by the update text in the most recent episode that the two had agreed to part ways.

A different user praised the show’s ‘heartwarming’ nature that made it a break from the ‘superficial s*** we consume on the daily’.

But for one viewer the show only proved to raise her own dating standards: ‘I watched the entire season of Love on the Spectrum.

Another felt if you weren’t watching the US show, which is available to view on Netflix, you were ‘missing out’.

And a different user lauded the show for its ‘care and softness’ when it came to portraying autistic people on their quest for love.
