Can you guess who the actress is?

She began her career on the small screen playing a straight-A high school student in a popular 90s sitcom.

And just a few years ago, she returned to Bayside High as a guidance counselor to reprise her role in the spinoff series.

The most infamous role of her career came in 1995 when she starred in an erotic drama that was rated NC-17 for its sex and nudity.

Did you guess her identity yet?

It’s Elizabeth Berkley!

AlertContent spotted the actress, 43, this week leaving a Pilates class in Los Angeles.

She was dressed down in comfortable black sweatpants, sneakers and black tank top.

She dressed up the look, accessorizing with two chunky necklaces and gold hoops.

Elizabeth had her hair back in a ponytail and carried a laptop in her tote bag as she walked to her car, hopped in and drove away.

Berkley is typically very lowkey and seldom in the limelight.

She is married to fashion designer and artist Greg Lauren. They wed in 2003 and share one son, Sky Cole, who they welcomed in 2012.

The pair met at a dance class in 2000.

Berkley put those dance moves to the test when she appeared as a contestant on Dancing With The Stars in 2013 and landed in 6th place.

Elizabeth Berkley rose to prominence on Saved By The Bell as high schooler Jessie Spano

Saved by The Bell ran from 1989 to 1993, after which Elizabeth secured the 1995 movie Showgirls

Showgirls rapidly became a cult favorite thanks in part to Elizabeth’s dynamic performance as stripper Nomi Malone

Elizabeth rose to prominence on Saved By The Bell as high schooler Jessie Spano, a strong, feminist activist and a straight-A student.

The role was tailored especially to her strengths.

She and Tiffani Amber Thiessen had both auditioned for the role of Kelly Kapowski, and after Tiffani got the part, the character of Jessie was created just for Elizabeth.

The show ran from 1989 to 1993, after which Elizabeth secured the most infamous gig of her career – the 1995 movie Showgirls.

Showgirls was directed by Paul Verhoeven from a script by Joe Eszterhas, after the two men collaborated on the hit erotic thriller Basic Instinct.

The script at the time was the most expensive ever sold.

Although the movie disappointed, crippled partly by its NC-17 rating, it wound up being a smash on home video.

Showgirls rapidly became a cult favorite thanks in part to Elizabeth’s dynamic performance as stripper Nomi Malone.

The film won seven Razzie Awards and Elizabeth spoke out about how she got much of the blame for the film not doing well.

Three years ago Elizabeth returned to the Saved By The Bell franchise for the show’s Peacock reboot, which was canceled after two seasons

‘Of course it was disappointing that it didn’t do well, but there was so much cruelty around it. I was bullied,’ she told People in 2020.

‘And I didn’t understand why I was being blamed. The job as an actor is to fulfill the vision of the director. And I did everything I was supposed to do.’

She noted, ‘No one associated with the film spoke up on my behalf to protect me. I was left out in the cold and I was a pariah in the industry I had worked so hard for.’

But her work didn’t end there.

Three years ago Elizabeth returned to the Saved By The Bell franchise for the show’s Peacock reboot, which was canceled after two seasons.

Her latest appearance was meant to be on the HBO drama miniseries The Idol, which stars The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, but she and the late Anne Heche were cut from the project.
