Former NBA star Joe Smith’s wife, Kisha Chavis, has insisted that his fury over her secret OnlyFans account will not lead to divorce.

Chavis, who is a former adult actress, filed and shared her husband’s furious reaction to discovering her OnlyFans account.

However, despite revealing that they are currently living separately following the discovery, Chavis believes that they will work through their issues.

‘I don’t want to be alone, but you know, if that’s what it has to be, that’s what it has to be. But, I don’t think we’ll have a divorce, I don’t think so. I think he’ll come around,’ she told TMZ.

She explained that she was driven to participating on the adult website after the couple fell on hard times.

But Kisha Chavis insisted that the former Warriors player will not divorce her over his anger

Despite creating various ventures, with Smith out of the league, the Covid-19 pandemic hit the couple, who have been together for 13 years, hard economically.

Chavis claimed she believes that Smith fell into depression and she resorted to OnlyFans as he failed to create a second career.

‘I’m just sorry that he can’t understand that … it wasn’t a selfish decision,’ Kisha says. ‘It was a decision that I made. I made an executive decision when my man wasn’t taking the lead. I really love Joe.’

The clip of Smith furiously confronting Chavis over her OnlyFans account went viral last week.

‘That’s bulls***. That’s f***ed up Kish,’ he is heard as saying. ‘I can’t believe I am sitting here, just finding out you have got OnlyFans. After all these years.

‘Are you recording me? What the f*** are you doing? It’s disrespectful, first of all.’

Chavis is heard answering back to Smith by saying: ‘My body, my f***ing choice.

‘You knew who the f*** I was when you met me. I thought I would never have to go back to anything like this again. But, unfortunately, that’s not the case right now.

‘I’ve been asking for solutions to s***, you’ve not given me one so I created one. You act like that’s the only thing I do.’

Chavis revealed she had her account for more than a year without her husband knowing and claimed he didn’t find out until a ‘friend that he’s been entertaining’ brought it to his attention.

Smith is reported to have earned around $61million in his playing career, although there is unclear how much of that fortune is left.

He once appeared on CNBC’s ‘Back in the Game’ – hosted by Yankees hero Alex Rodriguez – and explained how he struggled to manage the millions he made through basketball.

‘A lot of people think once you sign that contract, you’re just an automatic millionaire,’ he said. ‘But it doesn’t work like that.

‘Nobody really explained that and broke that down to me. Out of that $3million, Uncle Sam is going to take probably $1.5 [million] of that. That was just something I had to learn.

‘Once I got traded, it was always tough to unload those homes. I was always losing money.’

Smith’s career began in 1995 with the Golden State Warriors and he went on to play for 12 different teams across the NBA.
