Euphoria star Nika King is broke, she shared this week during a comedy set.
The 44-year-old actress – who plays Zendaya’s mom Leslie Bennett on the hit series – says things have been so bad she has not be able to pay her rent in six months.
In a recent standup comedy set at the Los Angeles Improv posted by TMZ, King shared her woes.
‘People are like, “We need Season 3!” and I’m like, “B***h, I need Season 3!”‘ she said before talking about her financial situation.
‘I haven’t paid my rent in six months!’
She then went on to say, ‘Zendaya’s over in Paris at Fashion Week, and I’m like, “B***h, come home! I need you! Mama needs you,”‘ she joked as the audience burst into laughter.
Season two of the popular series aired its last episode in February 2022. The next season is set to hit Max in 2025.

Nika added: ‘You’re laughing and I’m serious. I haven’t booked nothing since Euphoria.
‘This is some bulls***. I thought my career was on the rise after Euphoria, I thought I was good,’ she said.
‘It don’t work that way. I called Taraji [P. Henson] and she was like, “B****h, get used to it,”‘ she said in the clip she uploaded to her TikTok.
Euphoria’s third season has been in production on and off due to the SAG and WGA strikes as well as the busy careers of Nika’s co-stars Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi and Colman Domingo.
The next season is set to hit Max in 2025 – which would be a two year break from season two’s finale, which is the same amount of time between season one and season two.
Despite her jokes about Zendaya’s busy career holding up production, Nika has nothing but praise for her on-screen daughter.
‘Performing with Zendaya and Storm Reid is just like a master class,’ King told Us Weekly in 2022.
‘They are young and they bring their A-game, and I’m like “OK!’ I’m older — a little bit, a little bit older — but every day on set is another day to be amazing, to be great.”‘

The show’s creator, writer and director Sam Levinson, was busy with much of 2022 shooting his critically panned and swiftly canceled single-season series The Idol, which starred The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp.
It was only in January of this year that HBO and Max Content CEO Casey Bloys confirmed to Deadline that Levinson had begun writing Euphoria season three scripts.
Bloys also explained to Variety that the newfound stardom of some of the Euphoria cast had made lining up schedules even more difficult.
They tried to plan a start date for season three, particularly after Sydney Sweeney starred in and produced the hit rom-com Anyone But You and Jacob Elordi starred in the acclaimed thriller Saltburn.
